Last week my mother was told that her breast cancer had returned and had spread to her bones.

knor · 17/07/2025 17:53

My 2yo dd has quite bad constipation. Hard seeing her in pain (being managed by GP)

mediumdicketh · 17/07/2025 17:55

And my relationship is stuck because I'm stuck in a flat and I'm just dangling from a rope

Ponoka7 · 17/07/2025 17:56

I need around £8k of dental work. I'm my DD's childcare so can't go back to work to pay for it.

Don’t speak to my family, live miles from my hometown, in a minimum wage job, live in a shared house, basically come home from work & sit in my room, come to the realisation I will never be able to afford to rent even a little 1 bed flat, my dad has terminal cancer, I have no friends, just been diagnosed with anaemia & adenomyosis, GP has finally sent me for an urgent gynae appointment that I have to make myself out of the 5 hospitals to choose from zero have any appointments. I keep thinking what the point in life I really do!

Garage told us, not point in repairing the car not eccomically viable and if it was theirs, they would get rid of it.

4 years left on the loan

Oh no! That’s very bad.

WhitePudding · 17/07/2025 18:02

Waiting 18 weeks to see gastro as I may have something called Bile Acid Malabsorption. It causes you to soil yourself as the urgency comes from nowhere. It’s severely restricting my life and any small outing has to be planned around toilets. I’ve had to give up work.

Chocolatebubble · 17/07/2025 18:03

Father has terminal cancer, my mum is 80 so struggling. My husband (who I wanted to divorce in 2022… was then diagnosed with prostate cancer) 3 years in he has more health issues too and very unwell (no other family or friends. I was bullied out of my job (NHS) zero support and basically now a carer for my dad (which I would not begrudge him at all) and everyone else.. oh yes mortgage company being ‘unhelpful’..

Widower2014 · 17/07/2025 18:03

Does hubby need car to get to/from work so he can pay for a new bathroom???

Noname63 · 17/07/2025 18:05

My husband is severely depressed and suicidal. When he leaves the house I wonder if it’s the last time I will kiss him goodbye 😢

Tgan · 17/07/2025 18:05

Got made redundant five weeks ago and the job market is really slow. Thankfully, money is taken care of, but I really feel like I need to be back in work. 😢

Also the middle of doing a second level 5 course, which I started days after I got made redundant and the first assignment is now due 🙈

Oneday24 · 17/07/2025 18:07

Dealing with an abusive and controlling exH and his new GF

Caring for one son with additional needs whilst trying to support the other who doesn’t want anything to do with his dad (abusive exH)

Trying to save up enough to put down a house deposit after being screwed over in the divorce and losing our home

Absolutely drowning at work in a job I hate

Constantly worrying about finances, not being good enough and losing my kids.

Im an anxious wreck and barely sleep, 90% of my problems would be gone if ex just left me alone.

WhatMyNameis · 17/07/2025 18:07

I need a new bathroom. I can afford the bathroom, not the £6-£12,000 I've been quoted to fit it.

Seriously.

I sat in Easy Bathrooms for an hour or so, designing a bathroom. Didn't know about fittings so I threw in some expensive ones, I could always revise down, right?

£4500.

Not bad! Got excited! Especially when they said the tiles were free!

Quote me up a large one I said!

£12,000 to fit.

MyNavySheep · 17/07/2025 18:08

Debilitating anxiety but dosnt seems right saying it with some of the heartbreaking problems I've read.

Chinsupmeloves · 17/07/2025 18:08

Grieving for my BFF who was cruelly taken away from me.

JungAtHeart · 17/07/2025 18:09

My biggest problems pale to insignificance in the light of what some people are experiencing. I can barely bring myself to mention them … they’re more concerns. My two DDs are 16 & 15. I home educate, so getting them through their GCSE’s and keeping them motivated. They both have ASD and being neurotypical it can be a struggle.

MibsXX · 17/07/2025 18:09

The 2K debt hole covid left me in, was originally half that, every single penny after rent goes into it, but the baskets just demand more and more and add fees etc, been the cause of so much stress and worry, and missing meals. If that wasn't there life would be so enjoyable in this sunshine!

hazelowens · 17/07/2025 18:10

I seem to be collecting autoimmune diseases at an alarming rate at the moment. DP will not accept help for his mental health but he is supporting me with my MH but I am getting help it's just taking forever for team A and Team B to talk and act as 1 team. But we will get there eventually I hope lol.

Oh my son's was BAD, poo'd absolutely massive poos when he did go from not going so long that he screamed and cried.

Movicol saved us!

Went to see a private Dr in the end, cost me £25 for the prescription but then went to my GP and he prescribed it.

If you haven't tried it yet 🤞it works for you too!

Whyamiherenow · 17/07/2025 18:13

myself! I make other people’s problems my problems so am consequently constantly exhausted by my own doing!

notonthescrx · 17/07/2025 18:13

Loneliness and grieving after a passing.
The only person I saw was my long term cleaner who has left for a full time job.
Now I see no one and dont really want to, but she was saving me from total loneliness.

The thought of reform getting in. It will be the end of Britain.

First world problems really, but my job is exhausting and is affecting my health and I cannot see how I can sustain it for much longer.

Trying to work up the energy to plan a sensible exit and find something that won’t be too much of a pay cut fr fewer hours/stress, but it’s not going to be easy.

This sounds like me
