@mrsCtheRed hi thankyou but yes we've tried that.. currently trying bathing salts and they seem to be helping 🤞🏼 I'm open to any suggestions anyone may have, thanks again x

SummerCanDoOne · 20/07/2025 14:51

@Bettyboop2530 wet wrapping is also great for eczema. Apply whatever cream you use then wrap in cold, wet cotton gauze. Can wrap over the top with dry but in this weather I've just been doing it of an evening and letting them dry (more difficult with a small child ofc!)

In the space of ten days my leg has gone from red raw to this...

@SummerCanDoOne thankyou! We used to have full cotton suits that he would have to sleep in but thankfully we don't need those anymore. I'm going to mention wet wrapping at our next app and see if that will help with the flare ups instead of steroids creams. Thankyou! Xx

SummerCanDoOne · 20/07/2025 15:09

I usually do mine with steroid cream for the first day or two when it's bad, then apply a layer of Dermol before wrapping after that.

Having to buy a house for my in laws otherwise they will be homeless or have to re home their cats and, whilst doing this, watch as their house is sold from under them because of my MIL stupid financial decisions in collusion with her brother going completely over and above my FIL head when his ideas would have seen them sitting comfortably and not being able to trust her enough to believe that they will always pay us the vastly under market rent we would need to make this happen, otherwise we will lose our house and I won’t be able to run my company if I have poor credit….. So, yeah, most another day in paradise!

Oh and all whilst factoring in the fact my MIL has serious mental health issues that means she isn’t coping with any of this, can’t listen to reason at all and it’s caused my FIL a minor stroke.

Edited

Oh my God - please, please don't even consider doing this. She has shown you can't trust her. Don't. You could lose your home, your business and most likely your marriage (could you live with the resentment towards your DH?).

If they are homeless (and old, and with MH issues), the council will house them. Put your foot down, drop the rope and let the natural consequences of their actions happen.

My health. I had failed surgery to remove parathyroid glands in 2017 and I’ve been deteriorating ever since. Multiple ED admissions with tachycardia of 130 bpm etc. Minerals and electrolytes all over the place dangerously so. No surgeon in Ireland with expertise to help me. Trying to get scans on a disk to surgeon in England has taken over 3 months to date due to incompetent Endocrine secretary. She’s going to give me a heart attack literally!

Have you tried Shad Khan in Oxford? Lovely, lovely man and phenomenal surgeon, operates successfully when other surgeons have failed-you can book a telephone consultation with him for advice and he is so supportive and willing to listen.
His secretary's email is [email protected] and these groups, if you haven't seen them, were life-saving for me:

Are you on the website too? It is indeed Mr. Khan who I am hoping will sort me out. I only spoke to him on the phone for a few minutes but he is so nice and I love his accent too.

I am still bleeding 90% of my life, the remaining 10% I feel suicidal as I don’t know when the bleeding is going to kick in again. I am constantly having painful period cramps and the doctors are doing less than nothing to help me.

Mrsgreen100 · 20/07/2025 22:29

An ex partner of mine for well over 20 years , and a father if he could call himself that in any way
to my beautiful daughter,, the total shame of a human had defrauded me out hundred thousands of pounds, by hacking into my bank accounts whilst posing as a helpful partner who would take care of my business accounts in order to make up for the fact that he lived in my homes for rent free for years I never contributed a penny, I trusted him how stupid was I?
I had my own business since I was 18 he took out loans in my name. Got a woman to pose in the bank as me , and got to put a TPA on my solo accounts,he got a driving license in my name got utility bills in my properties transferred into his name without my knowledge, still after over three years of me kicking the arsehole out when I discovered who he really was I’m still discovering the depth of his Fraud, regularly my post is full with nasty surprises,
im now about to embark on a legal case ,with all that has come to light ,
The police say he could get a custodial of 3 to 5 years however I’ve lost over quarter of a century of my life, the warning is never trust anybody when it comes to money and assets
warning to all
on the plus side, even though I was taken in by a Corvet narcissist for so long
my life is happy my real friends are solid and caring. I never will be coerced and conned again.

StevieAnnSENMum · 20/07/2025 22:51

Being autistic with an autistic son and just being absolutely fucking knackered all of the time. Also, my son has PDA and makes arguments out of EVERYTHING which doesn't help. I love him to bits, he's my favourite person, but I'm soooooo tired.

Momoftwoscallywags · 21/07/2025 00:08

I lost my temper at work the other day.
Feeling ashamed and not looking forward to having to look for a new job as I really love this job, it's just the people (well one person) I am obviously struggling with.

But this is trivial compared to what some of you on here are going through. Sending hugs to everyone who needs it.

What do you mean by saying 'somebody knows what has caused it'.
Do you mean somebody knows what has caused the increase in ASD diagnosis?
Who do you think knows, and what do you think they know?
I'm really interested to hear you elaborate.
I'm super interested in why we are seeing so many children being diagnosed with ASD.

I think it’s pollution and it would not surprise me to know that the government have files and research on what sort of pollution. Perhaps it’s the longstanding effects of having had lead exposure from fossil fuels in the past. Perhaps it’s a combination of toxic chemicals from fossil fuels, or from nuclear fallout. Maybe it’s is even something connected to the number of different energy beams transmitted through the air; chemical effects are far easier to handle and trace but I do wonder about the knowledge of ourselves as electrical beings, electrical nervous systems, and what the impacts could be of living saturated in energy.

Either way it’s an effect of our way of life, post industrialisation, and no government has any power or will to touch that with a bargepole. Their continued interest will be in keeping us quiet, as they have done for the last 20 years of a destroyed economy. You think it’s conspiracy thinking? Conspiracies are normal in government. When were the issues of tobacco smoking first known?

Have you never wondered what it would be like to breathe the air of the world pre-1600 ish? It would be very very different.

Anecdptally I also note that other animal species seem to be more aggressive. Maybe conflicts as humans spread, maybe increased knowledge and exposure, maybe maybe maybe.

I’m so sorry. I take it the baby is here, how old? Do you have other help?

Men. Just men. Enabled and empowered by other men to just opt out. We need a new world.

Hmmm.
Interesting.

Rattatoille · 21/08/2025 22:21

Following on from @WaryCrow 's post regarding pollution, yesterday I listened to a frightening radio programme about lead in our rivers and soil from the 60.000 abandoned lead mines in England and Wales, File on 4 Investigates. I find it easier to go on BBC Radio 4's schedule rather than BBC Sounds, it was broadcast yesterday Wed 20 August at 11 am.

Ihateboris · 22/08/2025 10:09

Not a huge problem, and nowhere near as serious as many others..BUT, my mini needs a new clutch/gearbox and it's going to cost £2k. The car is only worth about £3k. I have zero savings and shit credit, so I'm well and truly fucked 🙃.

It seems really insignificant but I think my beautiful, perfect cat might be going deaf. He no longer looks at me when I call his name. He no longer comes running when he hears the treats packet. He sat in the hall whilst the fire alarm was going off the other day. Even my ears were ringing. He's also become really clingy.

He's still my beautiful, perfect cat but it is really sad that he may not be hearing bird song and I can't do anything about it.

Thank you. It's really hard to know what to do. I don't want to stop him going out and exploring as he loves that but if he can't hear then it makes everything more dangerous.
