I have never tried ikea meatballs.

Gone on a hen do

Never held any young babies other than my own.

Never knowingly stole anything

One of my relatives deliberately ordered from an independent, but what turned up was an amazon package.

Not even through kids or relatives or even work?! Don’t most work places have some kind of social media profile? I find it so hard to imagine never once having “seen” any of them? Aren’t you curious? You might love them for all you know.

Genuinely no. Work has a FB page and Instagram account but its not active really, just the same info as the website. Most of my friends aren't on them either, some go in to view their families maybe but none of them post anything. So it's not really used for communication in my friend group. My eldest kid just uses Snapchat to communicatre but doesnt post photos and youngest are too young for phones yet, so I might feel pulled onto SM soon to stay in touch as they get older.

You've never once tried to find information about a company and been sent to the FB page for stuff? For example, a lot of local cafes only have FB pages for things like menus etc.

Do you make a conscious effort to never click through to FB/IG etc?

No, sometimes I do get directed to a FB page but can't see it or click in as I don't have an account. I don't think anyone has ever sent me an Instagram picture, if they did I probably couldn't see it anyway. I have a colleague who constantly sends 'funny videos' from tik tok or whatever through a WhatsApp link but I can't see them and from what I've heard it's just as well! Everyone knows I'm not on SM so I suppose they don't try to send me stuff.

Is it really that hard to believe someone isn't using these apps? It's the 3rd time I've been challenged on what I've said 😆

Me neither, aside from cannabis. I feel like I may need to try some psychedelics before I die.

My mum probably wouldn’t have any idea of social media but I find it hard to imagine how anyone under 50 can avoid even “seeing” it?

Well, yes. It seems so unlikely. There's Instagram and Facebook feeds etc all over some websites and it's part of the site and you will be looking at it without even realising

And not having an account isn't stopping you seeing them 🤷‍♀️
