I don’t think she was ever a good actress but somehow she got billed as a ‘character actress’ and given roles that could have been played by far more talented women. Her wooden emotionless acting style is now matched by her immovable face which doubles the impact of her total lack of expression. Only vaguely realistic thing I’ve seen her in was the recent Baby Girl, a grim movie but she has an awesome daughter who sees straight through her and it seems oddly autobiographical.

Also detest the Winkleman fringe and the false quirky girl act of her. SO patronising and annoying, especially on The Piano.
