There wasnt a category for this to go in so apologies..
Ok i know I'm going to sound a little bit weird now, but its been bothering me.
Why when people hear music do they start waving their arms and legs around?
Is it a mating ritual still? Do people want to be admired for their dexterity?
Does dancing make people feel a certain way?
Why?

Lol. Even little babies and toddlers dance when they hear music. It’s clearly just instinctive and fun for a lot of people, especially if you love music.

I think we are just primed to respond to rhythm. It feels good. Sort of like cockatoos 😂

Personally I can't dance at all as I'm so uncoordinated. My brain and limbs don't connect that way. I also have problems following exercise classes, for example. I can't even do a fast-ish yoga flow, I just can't make the instructions I hear translate to my body. I really wish I wasn't like that!

I absolutely love house music so as soon as I hear the beat I’m up and dancing - it’s just the pure joy of feeling the music in your body and expressing the happiness.

It’s a great work out as well. Many I might put I’ve done 20k in steps and burned up over 1000 calories lost in music.
