Pram left overnight in the garden!

Definetly not "end of the world" stuff, but I got quite angry about this.
We have a double buggy that doesn't fit through our front door so needs to be built up outside every time we want to go out, not an issue. Monday mornings are nursery run mornings, I need to get the 7:20am bus. DW always at work. We're both females.
She was sorting jobs out last night while I got the baby settled for sleep. She came upstairs and told me she had built the pram up and just left it in the garden! We have never done that before and I don't like the idea of it. She said it wasn't going to rain so didn't see the issue. Problem is we saw a rat in the garden last week and after speaking with the neighbours turns out that 3 doors down have a rat problem.
I didn't shout at her but I did irritably tell her to go and get the pram in the house because I didn't want rats touching it and she said I was being absolutely ridiculous.
So..
YABU - Leaving the pram outside (weather approving) clearly saves time.
YANBU - Rats carry diseases and its not safe to leave it out.
And would you leave a pram outside at all regardless of the rats?

Off topic- have you considered a cat? When I lived in the city every one of my neighbours had rat/ mouse issues apart from us- I’m sure it was the cat that kept them away.

Allergic 😅

What ones have you looked at? I've had two five year olds happily in doubles that fit through doors, there's no way that your two year old and baby are bigger!

Most I looked at had a 15kg weight limit per seat. My 2yo is 17kg already. Would be a waste of money. Plus I like mine. I can have the baby facing me and toddler facing out. Works for us x

My daughter has an electric wheelchair .. that is heavy and hard to lift up into her door.. so she got a very good water proof shed kind of thing with a good lock.. that fits the chair in ... it's just under her living room window.. so she can just get it straight out without having to fold it up/ down.. just fix her battery on.
Could this be useful for you?.

If your going to buy a plastic shed, buy one that will fit bikes - just thinking of the future, those two boys will out grow that buggy before you know it and bikes will be next!

That's exactly what my DW said last night! We looked at one just big enough for the pram but then started listing everything that could possibly go in it, so giant size one it is 😅

I imagine your DP felt like this when she mentioned she’d set up the pram for you outside and you irritably ordered her to de assemble it.
