If you are fool or vain enough to have weird stuff injected into your face why should the NHS be wasting money on this.
AIBU - Yes the NHS should be there for ABSOLUTLY every medical requirement.
YANBU - People like this should be charged for their treatment as it was self inflicted.

Nobody shames cancer patients for getting sick - stop shaming diabetes patients

I actually think a narrative has developed somewhat that if you get cancer it's because you were unhealthy, I've even seen it on MNs.

Imho, the NHS needs a root and branch overhaul re funding, service provision and value for money. as unfortunately, it can't be all things to all men.

The NHS definitely should not be correcting botched private cosmetic procedures.

I think they should charge a fee, at least cover the NHS costs.

Do you get your hair coloured? Get manicures? Wear makeup? Get facials? What if you paid your hard earned money for one of these treatments in good faith but the person performing the service used an ingredient they shouldn’t have and you had a reaction to it?

Hairdressers have to do a patch test before colouring.

And all these treatments are actually well tested, relatively cheap and very widely available... even as home kits. The only risk one takes is allergic reactions which can be nasty, but are only in extreme circumstances deadly.

Botox injections are different, they are not just surface applications. Botox is a highly toxic substance that has the potential to kill anyone if handled carelessly.

NHS can should do it when they have time but she should pay for it.

Or wait until its life threatening and remove her lips. 🤐😗

And yet half of us will get cancer in the end as our bodies age.

Lung cancer can be caused by smoking but I’ve known people who have never smoked and have got it. Nothing is guaranteed.

The smugness of some people blaming others for their illnesses is repulsive.
