So they should apologise. They broke the law. At least that particular TW can’t say they haven’t been told they’re not allowed to use them. His whole argument was that he’d never been told he couldn’t. Now he has so he should be clear now that he does not belong there.

Well, he had said in his Women’s Hour interview that he would continue to use the ladies toilets.

Looking at the photo in the Times, it is indeed Robin M White, of these parts occasionally - he of the chequered history of outcomes in legal cases involving his version of the law and ‘gender’.

I recall his being entirely open in the media about (a) his male biology and (b) his deliberately retaining his male voice as it gives him an advantage in court - something to do with authority/sounding authoritative, apparently.

I think you are mixing up two people who are quite visible on this issue.

It was Robin Moira White the barrister who was in the HoC and has been on radio and TV.

The person avoiding getting pregnant was retired judge Vicky McCloud.

So at the Shakespere’s Globe theatre the toilets are 2 rooms of multiple cubicles, neither room labeled as male or female and men and women going into both and a lot of people feeling uncomfortable. Someone could easily stand on the loo and put their head over the partition. I don’t feel comfortable peeing with a thin partition between me and a man especially if we were the only two in the room. Why can’t they just label them as they were obviously intended, male and female?

@carrotcakeagain cubicles are not sufficient for unisex/gender neutral. They have to be fully enclosed rooms with a sink.
