Wow things are escalating to levels I don’t know if we are prepared for. But Mossad are no fools so must be confident in their actions.

Yeah, we can go back to 1967 when Jordan and Egypt attacked Israel for existing (and Syria of course). You know, when Egypt was under Gaza and WB was under Jordan and (guess what) that was fine and there was no Palestinian State.

Or we can go back to 1947 when the Arabs started a civil war on the day that the partition plan was approved by the UN and rejected by them or 1948 when Arab countries (armies of Egypt, Syria, Transjordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen) invaded the new country of Israel (which was declared by Palestinian zionists on the day the Brits left whereas the Palestinian Arabs did not declare a state).

But nice defending of the atrocities of 7/10...

The fact that you don't believe the long standing conflict is deeply complex, explains why you see no nuance - it's just black and white to you. I'm finding some of your posts offensive and I am not Jewish. The simplicity of your statements are undermining much history. History, about which, you are clearly ignorant.

Definitely some "Protocols of Elders of Zion" vibes with those posts.
I think snowstorming believes that the "zionists" are trying to enslave the gentiles as part of their evil plan for world dominance. They probably should change their username to snowstormfront

If we feel entitled to have them then they feel entitled to have them. And they are. So long as nuclear weapons exist in the world then no country is more entitled to them than any other whether you approve of them or not. Abd they will develop them by whatever means. That's not naive. That's fact.
Telling them "they can't" because the West is Billy Big Baws or somehow entitled to them and thinking they will just say "Oh ok then the West has spoken " is naive ( and arrogant) in the extreme. It will and has and lead to burning resentment which inevitably leads to death and blood shed, with or without nukes .

Respective culture and history, determines how each country will use those arms.

Smallsalt · 14/06/2025 01:02

So who decided that the UK and America get to have nukes but Iran can't.
If they want them and can make them.........who appointed us world police to say they cant.

I mean, USA, it's not as if it's run by a complete fucking maniac and his maniac lackies or anything. That's a fab country to be armed to the teeth with nukes.......

Iran decided.

They signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty where the following was agreed:

the NPT non-nuclear-weapon states agree never to acquire nuclear weapons and the NPT nuclear-weapon states in exchange agree to share the benefits of peaceful nuclear technology and to pursue nuclear disarmament aimed at the ultimate elimination of their nuclear arsenals.

Iran has signed the treaty and has not withdrawn from it as North Korea did.

Isn't the whole point of nuclear weapons as defensive.

Countries with nuclear weapons won't attack countries with nuclear weapons because they fear about retaliation.

So if Iran developed a nuclear weapon and used it against Israel, Israel would strike back. Mutual destruction. Would Iran do that?

I think the worry is nuclear bombs not delivered by missile. A small bomb in a city. Delivered by terrorists.

Thegreyhound · 14/06/2025 08:53

DickAhOn · 14/06/2025 00:36

Yes, I'm sure. If you don't attack israel, Israel doesn't attack you. It's not hard.

This isn’t actually true!

‘The Arabs’ 🤔

DdraigGoch · 14/06/2025 09:01

Would Iran do that?

I wouldn't bet against it.

Has it been confirmed that Israel has nuclear weapons? They've kept the answer deliberately vague in the past so it could all be a bluff.

The problem with that is?

DickAhOn · 14/06/2025 09:04

‘The Arabs’ 🤔

And what would you like to call this particular group of people who identify this way due to a common culture and language? It's not a slur, strange you seem to by implying it is. People identify as Arab. Hence you have Arab countries, Arab league etc

In 1947, the civil war was between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews.

DickAhOn · 14/06/2025 09:06

Thegreyhound · 14/06/2025 08:53

This isn’t actually true!

It actually is. 1947, 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982 and now.
In all these cases, Israel was being attacked. And while I oppose the settlements and the occupation, let's remember that prior to 1967, Israel wasn't in the WB or Gaza. That was Jordan and Egypt and yet no Palestinian state was established. Interesting fact, no?

Yes, they would. We've seen how much the Iranian regime care about their OWN people. The premise behind MAD is that the people in charge actually care about the people in their country. Say what you want about Netanyahu (not a fan myself) but the fact is that he has been peacefully voted out of office before. Can't really see that happening with the dear Supreme Leader.

I think the ignorance has outed itself in the question. I've got second hand embarrassment.

Someone should kick you out of your home and declare it as their new house, and then we can all talk about how complex it is 😔

If I wanted to ponder that question, I would ask the persecuted Jewish.

The fact that you think that this is how things happened just shows your ignorance.

BTW ask the 700,000 odd Jews of Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Tunisia, Lebanon and iran (many of whom now live in israel) what it's like to be kicked out of their houses and have them stolen. They'll surely be able to tell you.

Right. So just ad hominem attacks but unfortunately for you facts matter and don't change because they don't fit your narrative

Wonder if the children of Gaza will have a break from death, as the monstrous Netanyahu and his cronies focus on murdering others instead. Trying to see a silver lining here…

Considering that iran armed and funded hamas all the years and did everything it could to derail any peace talks between Palestinians and israelis then perhaps this will work out better for them. After all, Iran has been more than prepared to fight israel to the last Arab.

Actually I said I don't support israel's actions in gaza. Im capable of nuance. I listed the wars where israel was attacked
And yet the ranting and ad hominem attacks and delusional "zionists want to control the world " continue. Oh well. There was me hoping for a bit of rational discourse.
