Shower door cleaning

Hello, does anyone know how to clean shower doors so that they look clear? I have tried different cleaning sprays but to no avail, they still look streaky and have deposits on them after cleaning. I have recently tried 0000 steel wool, but it only came up marginally clearer, I tried it in conjunction with Viakal vinegar spray too. I'm beginning to think it's just that I don't have enough scrubbing power in my wrists.

Citric acid.

Hello everyone, thank you all for your suggestions and methods. I'm going to note them all down and try them one by one!

I have done this, it never works for me, the shower doors are the bane of my housework.

Me too. I seem to have tried virtually every combination of products and mine still doesn't look shiny.

You need these. They get right into the smallest of gaps.

Thanks. I've got a grout cleaning brush so I'll try that one first.
It doesn't make the grout clean, but there we go...

How do you know if you’re in a hard water or soft water area? I’m in West Yorkshire. What would that be?

If you have hard water, you know it!
