I recently had my nails done and I’m in actual love with them. Can you be so in love with your own nails that you want to just stare at them forever and ever? So show me your nails now or your best nails! I told my nail tech to go ‘retro’ and that she did!!

They’re slightly pinker than it comes up in the photo, but it’s my real nails with a gel polish that I got in a box of random beauty stuff last week

Just had them done, wasn’t going for Xmas style again but I fell in love with these

Went for something a bit different for Christmas nails on Friday. The stars are holographic and I love how they catch the light when I move. Photo from my nail artist as I just couldn’t get a good one myself.

Sadly I think I e developed an intolerance to gel nails, certainly if I use builder gel. I had mine done for Xmas but I’ve soaked them off, it felt like my nails were suffocating (for want of a better phrase) and they were so tender to touch. They feel much better now the gel is off but it does make me sad as a I love a good manicure and painted nails

Pink this month

Beige is one of those colours that changes a lot with the type of light it's under. Colours that are similar, but slightly different to skin tone can look odd in certian lights.

I like the delicate colour and shimmer, perhaps try a slightly different tone next time? Or put on some fake tan and see how it looks then?

I’ve only been getting my nails done for a few months and I am definitely not brave enough for the bright and bold styles - I just have a plain colour and a wee design on the ring ringers. These are my recents!

My next nails will be Disney-themed for going to Disney On Ice!
