I recently had my nails done and I’m in actual love with them. Can you be so in love with your own nails that you want to just stare at them forever and ever? So show me your nails now or your best nails! I told my nail tech to go ‘retro’ and that she did!!

Hehehehe!! My old wrinkly hands with all.the nail varnish chipped off! I'm going away next week so will make an effort then. For now, this is the shame I'm waving about - but I'm proud because I've been a nail biter for 53yrs and here they are unbitten 😁

Good for you for stopping the biting. My sister did the same. A nail biter for decades but she never does it now 🙂

I was a nail biter from pretty much the day I grew teeth and the only thing in 49 years to have ever stopped me is getting gel or dip-powder nails done. It’s SUCH a tough habit to break - I used to bite mine until they were bleeding. Now I get loads of compliments and I can grow them really long when I want.

Do absolutely nothing with mine bar file them down when they get too long. I love all the art!

I have retro ones right now too. This is the day they were done. Getting redone on Friday. I love how each hand is slightly different, both thumbs are the same pattern as I broke both just before my last appointment.

Here are mine at the moment. I am really proud of these, I'm usually a nail biter but grew them out so that my daughter could do a manicure to complete her NVQ Beauty Therapy course yesterday.

This was my previous lot. Had to take a screenshot from my nail artist’s page though as apparently I didn’t take my own photos. I loved these ones though.

What a strange response, given the title of the thread you clicked on was clearly aimed at people who do like having their nails done.

It’s like clicking on thread titled “would you three year old like this?” just to respond “I don’t have a three year old”.

I like my nails short clean and no polish.

Cant stand long fake nails just to much going on over done.
But thats my opinion if others like it go for it.

I've just had the exact same ones ❤️ Mine lasted three weeks and that was with daily swimming. I had matching on my toes and they lasted a month. I do put a gel top coat on though and double dehydrate the nail beforehand. Helps them last longer.
