@Jujujudo . We are also living in a world watching Israel starve people to death and killing innocent people.
The world should be coming together against Israel even if it means war

What is it today with non sequiturs? How is that relevant to point about Jewish people being denied entry to eateries?

I made a mild remark about MY view being that he should have been served. In fact, he WAS served, and only asked to leave midway through, which seems like bad form (imo).

Nowhere did I say I thought it should be illegal to refuse him service.

OP posted a thread in AIBU asking for opinions and I gave MY opinion that I am uncomfortable with the idea of refusing people service because servers happen to disagree with their views. I did not suggest that I thought there should be a change in the law. Surely I'm allowed to be uncomfortable with something and express that opinion on a thread explicitly asking for opinions on the subject?

Absolutely you're allowed to express your opinion.

Similarly I'm allowed to express the opinion that you're talking bollocks. HTH!

Think of it as the restaurant exercising their right to control their borders.

Hahahahahhaha

Dark times for us all. So much hatred from all sides.

Any thoughts about white abusers? Who are in the majority?
Yes. The rape gang scandals are terrible. There’s more to sexual exploitation than just them though.

There is absolutely no point with some people. They do not understand facts.
very sad.

Sure. I've already formed the view that you are a rude, reactionary person who likes to hector other posters so it doesn't remotely surprise me that you would dismiss anyone expressing even mild discomfort with a situation as 'talking bollocks'.

Oh I see, in all the emotion, it's hard to decipher fact from rhetoric.

Sorry it’s making you so emotional.

Actually the prevalence of abuse per capita is far, far higher among the particular ethnicity of the men in question. As many as 1 in 70 of all the men from this ethnicity from Rotherham were involved in grooming and raping mostly white underage girls. This suggests specific out of proportion problem related to this culture and ethnicity. In the UK, government data shows us that 1 in 4 of all sexual offences is currently perpetrated by migrants. This is way out of kilter in proportion to the number of migrants v's the white male population.

I’m not across those figures, but happy to believe you. There are still more sex crimes committed by white British men though, what with them being the majority in the country.

So the Christian couple who refused to make a cake for a gay couple to celebrate a gay marraige, they should have been forced to? Thankfully the law disagrees with you.

No private business should be forced to serve everyone.

If a private establishment doesn't want to serve a white nationalist that is their right.

They didn't refuse to make the cake they just refused to ice the message on it that was requested which is why they won, had they refused to even bake the cake then they would have lost.
You can't refuse to serve someone but can't be forced to write or say something that you disagree with.

Butchyrestingface · 06/06/2025 20:32

I know almost nothing really about TR, but he’s sitting at a table with someone with brown skin and being chucked out for being racist. Something is weird.

It doesn't sound like they actually supplied a reason for asking him to leave. The manager was apparently perfectly courteous though.

I chortled at the description of the Asian ex EDL member (surely some serious cognitive dissonance there?) asking whether he was being told to leave due to the colour of his skin.

You are missing the point, perhaps deliberately to excuse the systematic rape and torture of underage white girls by men of a disproportionately specific ethnicity.

For anyone who doesn't believe the grooming gang problem, or understand why it is so serious, and why Tommy is trying to highlight the problem, try here:

Truly shocking stuff.

Why did he record outside the court and risk the trial?

No I'm not. I’ve said it’s terrible. But more girls have that experience at the hands of white men. Both are as bad. It’s only you saying one race doing it is worse.

Tommy Robinson, however brash, challenges the establishment who are doing their best to cover up the rape gang scandal where thousands of underage British girls were systematically drugged, tortured, raped and abused by men of non-british origin, from a culture where women are seen as second class citizens and brides are often forced to marry, and become fair game at the point of puberty.

The government are trying to cover it up because it blows their 'multiculturalism is always good' argument into the weeds, and because this all happened on their watch, usually in Labour council run areas, often with local councillors and police complicit of ignoring the underage victims trying to report their rapes to the authorities.

The reporting of Tommy in the mainstream media is dis-honest and ons-sided in the extreme, and those who believe what is said about him in the press really do need to listen to the other side of the argument, from Tommy himself, to see what has actually been going on. I suggest you listen to Tommy's interview with Jordan Peterson, or Ezra Levant for a start.

Only having done this are any of you in a position to comment on that which most of you so clearly know absolutely nothing about.

The grooming gangs have had a lot of well-deserved publicity over the years - it didn't need Robinson to bring it to public attention.

Prior to his shit-stirring and the illegal activities which sent him to gaol did he ever show any political interest in the wellbeing of young girls and women?

Nobody’s excusing it, simply pointing out that the statistics show that white men commit more sexual crimes by a wide margin. Facts are unpopular round here.

If you think that you can refuse to serve someone because they voted Tory I would love to see you ion court!

You absolutely 100% can. It probably wouldn't be a very good idea business wise, as up until recently they were one of the two most voted for parties, but you can.

As someone who worked in hospitality for many years it still amazes me that people think they have some kind of right to be served by a business. You can't refuse to serve someone due to a protected characteristic, but you can refuse for any other reason, from hating their shoes to them being a racist bigoted criminal.
