By “thing” - I don’t mean people. I’m sure there are people from our childhoods that we would all want to bring back more than any “thing” in the world.

The thing that I would bring back would be tinned Spaghetti Hoops with Hotdogs in Smokey-Bacon Sauce by Heinz.

Best thing ever in the 90s IMHO!

Watch with Mother

Definitely!

Fruit polo. The original walkers BBQ crisps. The Chinese rib steaks we used to get from either Netto or Kwik save. The old bakery that was at the end of my street - it was lovely waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread and cakes on a morning.

Stinky Stickers! And more affordable house prices.

Dangermoo · 05/06/2025 22:50

Smash Hit pop stickers, tiny badges with pop star pics on, rainbow drops, Why Don't You, Torvill & Dean, Grange Hill. Runaround, Multicoloured Swap Shop!

heartofstars · 05/06/2025 23:16

TheCoralMoose · 05/06/2025 23:51

Cadbury wishes and for a good cause too.

GU24Mum · 05/06/2025 23:51

@fixingmylife- I saw the thread title and came on to reminisce about Pacers too. I'm sure there would still be a market for them!

TheCoralMoose · 05/06/2025 23:55

Does anyone remember a advert for a chocolate bar the song on the ad was heaven must be missing an angel i dont know what chocolate it was?.

CharlieUniformNovemberTango2023 · 05/06/2025 23:57

Cadburys spiras!

TimeForABreak4 · 05/06/2025 23:58

Vice versas. Loved them so much.

DrCoconut · 06/06/2025 00:02

Proper jelly tots. The new ones aren't the same. I'm sure there used to be a version of oat crunchies with honey too? Golden oaties or something like that. Come to think of it, plastic tat in with your cereal is a delight my kids have never known.

I loved them. I still remember exactly what they tasted like. Sad they are no longer.

Housemouse245 · 06/06/2025 00:09

Sunny D! And proper cadburys chocolate. Galaxy tasted a lot nicer then too.

This is where we need the 🤣 back! But you are so right

MrsWinslowsSoothingSyrup · 06/06/2025 00:11

Ice cream vans doing the street rounds - but not so overpriced

2p Gobstopper machines outside shops - they just look so nice!

MrsWinslowsSoothingSyrup · 06/06/2025 00:12

oh and milkmen and their electric carty things

MixedBananas · 06/06/2025 00:13

Potato Puffs.
There was a petition but the manufacturers said they sold the machine and don't plan to repurchase it. Seems and odd explanation.
