I bought tickets ages ago to see him in Newcastle tonight (may have been wine involved) worth noting I live down south (bad drunk me)

Bought through see tickets so delisted for sale. They turned that off a couple of days ago, no notification and now have zero chance of getting them sold as can only transfer to other see tickets users.

Bit grumpy as bought them over a year ago and forgot about them.

Also the venue can’t re release the tickets (I called and asked them) so there’ll be a row of 6 empty seat in an otherwise sold out show.

Arse!

Not really an AIBU but if anyone with a see tickets account wants some tickets to a strangely attractive tall funny man drop me a line and I’ll try and transfer them to you.

Can you find a Newcastle group for such things (maybe someone here can help) I have done so with cinema tickets and transferred for free

I tried earlier in the week and nothing.

Tis an expensive lesson.

I resold some tickets through seetickets last year and tweeted the comedian to tell him. It was on the day of the show. The comedian retweeted and said the show was sold out so someone snapped them up immediately.

Ooh ggod shout.

I’ll give that a go

Maybe put a post on the Taskmaster subreddit? There's hundreds of Greg fans on there?

ChocolateIsForLife · 30/05/2025 13:53

I know this doesn’t help but it is a really good show.

DoNoTakeNo · 30/05/2025 13:55

Can’t help at all but am, in a phrase only used here, weirdly invested in the outcome.
Good luck, OP!

Thanksforyourlackofthought · 30/05/2025 14:02

It's a brilliant show. And yes, he is very attractive. (Front row so had an excellent view). Again, doesn't help. Sorry.

User2446433 · 30/05/2025 14:04

I met him once at a party in London he was v charming and fit!!

User2446433 · 30/05/2025 14:05

Funny too obvs

Bobbingaroundthesea · 30/05/2025 14:06

I love Greg Davies (have tix to see him soon and cannot wait!!) but I’m baffled by the ‘fit’ comments?!

Am I missing something here? 🤣

User2446433 · 30/05/2025 14:08

It was about 20 years ago!! Lols. More charming and attractive rather than gym bunny fit. I don't find really fit people fit anyway! Iyswim.

Lacoutine · 30/05/2025 14:09

Why don’t you just go - make a mini break of it!

lifemakeover · 30/05/2025 14:09

Also have a weird crush on him. I was looking at tickets for Royal Albert Hall in a couple of weeks. There's still some available.

hairbearbunches · 30/05/2025 14:17

I'm in the southeast and we managed to get tickets to see him in York, made a mini break of it. He was staying in our hotel and we bumped into him twice. I was like a lovestruck teenager, ffs. My best advice is to get your arse on a train right now, the show is brilliant.

(And seeing as this is a Greg Davies thread, can i just say...Liz Kendall! What the fuck? If i think about it for too long, i have to lie down in a dark room.)

Hahaha.
Hilarious show!

StMarie4me · 30/05/2025 14:22

It’s a brilliant tour! If anyone can go then do!

somejust · 30/05/2025 14:34

Twickets? You can put them on for offers, or under the asking price.

Mouche85 · 30/05/2025 14:37

Would they check your name etc? I don't have seeticket account but could be interested.

He has an interesting story about her in the show.

Sorry, can't help with tickets just here to add to the love for delightful GD!

4forksache · 30/05/2025 14:42

I’m only posting to see if you manage to sort it.

MMAMPWGHAP · 30/05/2025 14:50

+2 for Twickets.

SandandSky · 30/05/2025 14:51

If we were closer to Newcastle I would have bitten your hand off for these! Sorry it’s not helpful but hope you manage to sell them. I’m insanely jealous of whoever gets to go

SpidersAreShitheads · 30/05/2025 14:52

Thank the actual fuck.

I opened this thread fearing Greg was going to be the latest male celebrity with awful revelations.

Honestly delighted to find it's just a thread full of fellow Greg fans, including those who also find him inexplicably attractive.
