Well, more the discussions on his YouTube channel, I watch them most nights. I seem to pretty much agree with most things he says and don’t think he’s that bad. I realise most people (I think) don’t feel like this, is there something wrong with me? When I told my mum, she said ‘Eww, he’s awful, I hate his voice’ 😬

What @PuppyDay said. Also I have met him a few times due to a weird association with his wife. Just confirmed what I thought, he is not a nice person. He has no integrity, has never been a serious journalist, spits bile and basically is just all about Piers. As a country we really need to stop being held in thrall of these entitled, not particularly bright wankers.

What is it about people idolising total bully arseholes now? We used to admire gentler qualities in people, now we only want to watch aggressive, opinionated dick heads!

He`s so rude i use to watch gmtv in the mornings but he just pissed me off so gave up watching it.
Then the time he stormed off the set because no one was going to keep taking his crap.

Ironic that people are likening him to Jeremy Clarkson, who famously punched Morgan in the gob! He hates him more than most!

JC has long admitted that his boorish image from Top Gear was an act. He was the "mans man". James May was the "boring man" and Richard Hammond was the"excitable young man". They all played their parts to appeal to the widest audience possible, and it cant be denied that it worked.

I never had a big issue with JC, loved Top Gear etc but my opinion of him really did change with Clarksons Farm. Yes he plays it up to the camera, as does Caleb, but there are several moments that you can see are genuine. When his infertile sheep when to the abatoir and had been killed before he could say goodbye was particularly moving. That wasnt acting.

I like Clarkson. Piers Morgan is a cunt though. Nothing to do with being anti-woke (I mean, who fucking isn't these days?), I probably agree and disagree with his opinions in equal measure. It's that he's a gobshite hack with little intelligence and no integrity.

Well, the thread title isn't words I often hear.

I did like his book The Insider as it talks about figures in the news from when I was a child, Princess Di, Jordan, Blair, Brown, Spice Girls etc. He talks about the war photos and insider trading in that book.

I don't watch him on tv. He did appear to have a crush on MM and was bitter she shut him out.

This is exactly why I won't watch him either. How low he goes to get a good story is disgusting.

Do you know his history in terms of his journalistic career OP? He should be in prison really. He's Teflon for some reason and it's remarkable that he's still allowed in mainstream media. There must be some families who are hurt by his regular presence on TV screens.

Good god- it’s not that some of us can’t handle him not saying ‘ the right thing ‘ ! It’s because we think the things he says are stupid, thoughtless, uninformed and ignorant. Also JC who thinks he’s some sort of brave, rule breaking truth teller. They are actually just bitter old men who used to be on top but now cry all the time because they are expected to not tantrum about anything they don’t like.
If your toddler behaved like JC or PM, they would be getting a firm chat about treating others as we want to be treated. Not lauded for being stroppy brats.

Back when I had to deal with him, and concluded that he was a total cunt, he wasn’t a TV personality and was still editor of the Mirror. I never even heard him express a political opinion. So no, it isn’t about him being right of centre.
