Slightly light hearted, but I have to say reading the caption ‘A dump of the monthly variety’ has almost made me clam shut.

Please tell me I’m being ridiculous…

A "dump" in this context is when you upload a load of photos to your socials, not delete them. Assuming that people want to look at loads of photos you've taken.

Is it the words or the photo-posting you object to? If you don't like how he uses SM then don't follow him. If you don't like him then dump him.

It would depend what the photos include - but if you’ve genuinely got the ick there is no hope!

Is it because of the phrasing- ‘of the monthly variety’ That puts me in mind of a kind of Ben Elton type humour or the man in The Fast Show whose catchphrase was ‘I’m mad, me’

A photodump is naff but that kind of twee ironic phrasing is very grinding

He's not posting anything about his partner’s menstrual cycle 🤣 He’s posting a selection of photos taken in the past month. Which is apparently a crime amongst women who use the phrase ‘gives me the ick’ with absolutely no irony intended.
