I wouldn't bat an eye lid at the phrase he used, and the expression doesn't belong to influencers. I don't know what issue is.

My husband isn’t on any social media but this wouldn’t bother me. What bothers you, OP? My husband also doesn’t take any photos except of the dog, and that bothers me more. I have almost no photos of me with my kids because of it.

I thought maybe he'd posted a photo of the OP implying that this was the girl he was dumping this month via social media.

I think people stopped saying ‘insta’ about 5 years ago also, very millennial as my students would tell me!

We all say or write things from time to time that are somewhat cringeworthy. This doesn't seem that bad to me. I'd try to forget about it.

He is saying: here is a dump (you think I mean poo) of the monthly variety (tada! I meant photos, obvs).

I thought that of the monthly variety meant something to do with periods. I also thought that Joey was a reference to Joey Deacon.

With this man, it’s the flowery language that makes me cringe most. The ‘monthly variety’ nonsense.

Though anyone over 25 using the phrase ‘photo dump’ also makes me roll my eyes a little. The under 25s I assume will grow out of it.

I think you’re being a tad precious but then again, I’m 44. It was a photo dump. Does the word dump offend you? I had to read your post a few times to understand which kind of dump. Even dump in the taking a shit sense isn’t offensive surely?
