Slightly light hearted, but I have to say reading the caption ‘A dump of the monthly variety’ has almost made me clam shut.

Please tell me I’m being ridiculous…

I don’t see the issue. Everyone is doing a “monthly photo dump / upload” at the min on social media. Wouldn’t bother me

I’m not really sure why this would give you the ick? Lots of people do a monthly photo dump on socials. So highlights of their month reels or posts. And they’re not even young. I don’t, but I see plenty of this. Why is it an issue?

To dump means to put down carelessly e.g. post the photos without curation.

Yes exactly this! Makes me cringe. (But you have to get the context - how the phrase is usually used - to see why this ‘playful’ version is cringy.)
