I have my own cat and my neighbour's cat also decided that my house would be his second home as soon as I moved in so I am now expected to feed, water and pet him everyday too.

Mumsnet has an obsessive hatred of dogs and their owners already, barely a day goes by without someone having the vapours about the presence of a dog in a pub. I find it all unhinged and neurotic in the extreme.

Please don’t let this place become a hotbed of anti feline propaganda too. I will fight anyone who comes after my cats.

I’d rather be with my cats than most humans! And it’s dogs that are taking over in my area. Big, barking, stinking, dogs messing up the pavements, scaring children, annoying my cats. ( I’m talking about the ones with irresponsible owners btw - I realise there are some nice, well behaved dogs too though they seem a rarity where I live!)
