Apparently the UK is on the brink of becoming a nation of cats.

Please make it stop. We need to stand up to the takeover.

Personally that bum eye and wandering over kitchen surfaces, 🤢

Help, what can we do?

ps light hearted, naturally 🤔

Bollocks

😍

Seeyousoonboo · 09/05/2025 08:48

Good. I am fucking sick to death of Dogs in every fecking restaurant or coffee shop I go in to, yapping and barking with the lovely dog shit spread on the pavement.

Seeyousoonboo · 09/05/2025 08:50

Hector is the only man in my life!

Can see this turning into a dog hating thread, I'm off.

Selttan · 09/05/2025 08:53

I thought they already ruled the world…..at least that’s what my two tell me.

Bustabloodvessel · 09/05/2025 08:54

I have a dog but would love a cat they are glorious creatures

TheAmusedQuail · 09/05/2025 08:54

I know exactly what is going on in the UK. Women en masse have decided men no longer make adequate life partners and are replacing them with cats.

Vive le chat!

Katkins17 · 09/05/2025 08:57

Wow….cats rights are animals rights you know….

I'm literally shaking here…. Are you trying to erase cats??

Cats can’t help having visible butt holes, and they should be allowed to walk on any surface, most the the time you wouldn’t even know…And i've never felt threatened by a cat.

this is a Cat genocide…. Let them live their lives without threat…why do you even care…. Are you a FERP??
(Feline excluding Radical petowner ???)

CollaterlieSistersSister · 09/05/2025 09:00

“What can we do?”

We do nothing other than give them more chicken, and more pets.

Cats rule.

People who love cats start threads soliciting cat content. People who don’t will largely ignore the thread. Because we don’t want to see cats.

When I am in charge both cats and dogs will be banned in urban areas. And on social media.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/05/2025 09:15

1.74 cats

Hmmmm . I have 2 cats , the male has been castrated which would account for about 0.3 , does that mean that the rest of the 0.23 is his Little Boy Cat Brain?

( Female is spayed but she utilised that space with belly fat )

Mine stay with us just to protect the rest of the Cat Population, they reckon if we have them then we cannot take in any innocent cats who would not be able to cope with us.

My cats are Ex Garden cats so they were Born Tough , but have adapted well to domestic life .
Food x 2 daily - check
Dreamies-check
Garden via cat flap-check
Beds to sleep on-check

(They have Stockholm Syndrome , obvs)

Make it stop.... an average of 1.74 cats in each household in the US. Don't follow the US be different

"1.74 cats
Cat statistics

There are about 79 million owned cats in the U.S. That means: There's an average of 1.74 cats per household. In the U.S., 45.3 million (35%) households have a cat."

There's about 130m households in the US. So just over 0.5 cats per household

PrettyPuss · 09/05/2025 09:17

I will take them all!

Limth · 09/05/2025 09:20

Judging by the piles of cat shit that appear daily in my garden and the foul cat-piss stench that hovers around my supposedly relaxing arbour, the cats have very much already taken over.

Nottheeightoutoftencats · 09/05/2025 09:24

OP you just haven't met your designated feline overlord yet, once you do you will crumble.

In the meantime time mine are sad and cross respectively that there are homes that refuse to submit to cats.

Couldn’t be without them. They help my whole family emotionally regulate. Since getting our first cat my ASD son has done better at school, had far less meltdowns and openly expressed endless compassion, love, understanding of consent. So many things.

The love these companions offer is strictly on their own terms, and therefore so much more precious. I love dogs too, but in comparison they’re far more manipulative

MimiGC · 09/05/2025 09:27

We’re good, thanks.

FancyCatSlave · 09/05/2025 09:32

I’ve got 2 plus the neighbours 2 think they also live here. So they are already taking over at my house and outnumber the humans.

Mind you it’s the hens you need to be afraid of, my bantams literally rule the village and have no qualms terrorising visitors.

Plump82 · 09/05/2025 09:35

I reckon the country would be in a much better place if it was was taken over by cats!
