Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - you have blood on your hands

Muffinmam · 26/04/2025 07:14

Am I being unreasonable to say that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - the Duke of York and member of the Royal Family has blood on his hands following the tragic suicide of Virginia Giuffre?

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has faced zero consequences for his role in Virginia Giuffre‘s sexual abuse and trafficking because he’s rich and his powerful mummy paid off the victim and the British police failed to pursue charges against him. To be clear, while the age of consent in the UK is 17 years old this does not apply to trafficking victims and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has never faced criminal charges.

He probably thinks he’s got away with it now she’s gone.

Very sad situation.

the investigation on the jeffrey epstein scandal has gone very quiet. Ghislane is the only person who has taken the rap here (rightly so). What about the others

You lost me at ‘that ginger woman’.

Yes me too.

Why do threads about the royal family tend to involve so much drama and hyperbole ?

FantasiaFunFact · 26/04/2025 09:08

savory · 26/04/2025 09:05

So any criticism of the Royal Family has to be a Russian bot and you're not kidding. You are attemting to smear by association.

Kidding !

Have you taken your medicine this morning?

It's OP's syntax. Not your projections.

PeggyMitchellsCameo · 26/04/2025 09:10

She was just a young girl.
The ‘people’ embroiled in this scandal are or were very rich and powerful. Andrew from the most powerful family in the land, Maxwell a daughter of one if the world’s most powerful media families.
Of course, it is a story of the ages will
never change. Rich, powerful people using people like consumable products. Use, abuse, throw out when finished.
There are trafficked people everywhere - one has probably done your nails or washed your car.
I really admired the late Queen but she had a lot to answer for when it came to Andrew. She enabled and coddled him all of his life.
I have no doubt that he has abused and taken advantage of others - you don’t go and have a little chat with Epstein to break off a friendship. He absolutely turns my stomach and the fact that he still lives in that mansion with his equally ex hideous wife is a stain on the Royal Family that they can’t shake.
As for Virginia, she knew what happened to her, whether we believe her or not. Personally, I believed her. I think she was a complex character. But I believe the narrative that she was abused.
Her poor children. They have to live with this now.
I was brought up to be a Royalist, and loved Diana. I think William and Catherine are the only hope for that family now.

JandamiHash · 26/04/2025 09:10

A horrifically sad event, and it really shows that even the strongest of survivors can never ever escape their demons. Her poor family.

Now it’s time EVERYONE was named and consequences were delivered.

It continues to horrify me that although a woman is in prison for sex trafficking, not one man has been identified as her client. How can you jail as sex trafficker without naming the people she trafficked victims to. It certainly wasn’t just Epstein.

Whichever powerful figures are protecting the rapists, including Prince Andrew, needs to stop now, and the full force of the law needs to be imposed on every last one of them. Get the fucker deported. We know what he did. And I hope Charles fully complies in whichever way it takes to ensure this happens

JandamiHash · 26/04/2025 09:12

And FWIW the rest of the RF should not be smeared by association, I reckon half of them want nothing to do with him except sitting nearby at funerals, they aren’t the enemies here unless they’ve been complicit in a cover up or enabled his evasion. My respect in the Queen went way down after she paid his victim off, I’m surprised it didn’t cause a bigger scandal

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 26/04/2025 09:12

You make very good points @Tomatotater . Now I think of it wasn't there a time when he rammed a gate open with his range rover because he couldn't be bothered to get out and open it. My mum would've wiped the floor with me if I'd done that but obviously as PA was the Queen's favourite son it was all permitted.

He's certainly a shining example of why parents should never have a favourite child.

StScholastica · 26/04/2025 09:12

Rest in Peace Victoria.
We heard you and we saw your pain.

Bet there won't be much on the news today about this, given that it is the pope's funeral and all media attention will be in that.

StrawberryDream24 · 26/04/2025 09:02

He has a medical condition resulting from PTSD sustained in the service of this country

Lol

It's really sweet that you actually believe any of the princes were in service in the way that actual servicemen & women are in service.

Edited

It is no different from people actually believing that members of the RF 'work hard'. They really do have the best pr going!

What were the millions given for?

So that she would drop the lawsuit against him. It was the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee so I think it was decided to pay VG so that nothing would over shadow that. Also the Queen was very elderly so I expect pressure was put on VG to accept the offer. Imagine the uproar if the stress had had an effect on the Queen's health.

Coolasfeck · 26/04/2025 08:57

Poor Virginia. RIP.

Meanwhile Andrew is photographed enjoying Easter with King Charles and Queen Camilla. Queen Camilla, the champion of domestic abuse victims who’s also best friends with Jeremy Clarkson who published a violent sexual fantasy about her DIL, and who will be on TV with Prince William.

These people are all gross and protect each other. Virginia didn’t stand a chance of peace when she went up against Andrew and upset the Royal Family.

I don’t think Camilla is best friends with Clarkson? who didn’t write a sexual fantasy about Meghan at all.

Honestly you can have a pop at Andrew without making things up.

Re Easter, are you referring to the church service they all went to?

can well believe Andrew to be arrogant, entitled, not very bright, a poor judge of character, too easily flattered but I do not believe he would have sex with anyone without consent. No-one in his position, with years of being in the public eye, and of the gutter press, would be that stupid.”
I can believe he is that stupid. Have you not seen his interview with Emily Maitliss? His litany of dodgy/spy friends? It seems every shady character/ dodgy oligarch/rich criminal in the world did see that he was actually, that stupid. He said in the Maitliss interview that he didn't notice or wonder why very young girls were there at Epsteins houses, ' massaging' rich old men, because ' people like him' don't see the staff- they are just there. So as far as he could see they weren't even worthy of consideration. Just there to bring him things, or service his needs.

This in buckets. I honestly don’t think PA is the malevolent sexual abuser or predator that he is being accused of. I don’t like the man particularly, he’s stupid, spoilt and entitled in the worst ways possible. I firmly believe that while he was not a victim of Jeffery Epstein, he was definitely a useful idiot, a vector to other people. That there were all these young women around behaving initially like normal staff would have been completely normal to PA, I completely believe that Epstein groomed him too; he wouldn’t have asked any of the girls to do anything sexual on the first few visits, only when he was comfortable.

We also have to remember that PA wasn’t the only man involved with Virginia’s abuse; Epstein used her, and many other girls, to get compromising material on rich and powerful men.

I think she topped herself because she exposed herself for the liar she is with the being dead in four days lie! She was obviously a deeply disturbed woman with lots of issues and anyone who believes 100% everything she said is more than a little bit naive and stupid.

This is what you have to say about a woman who has just died in the most tragic circumstances? I don't know all the truth about this any more than anyone else but I do know what trauma can do to people, and being 'deeply disturbed' does not make her a liar.

Ukisgaslit · 26/04/2025 09:16

@JandamiHash

Dont hold your breath waiting for the Windsors to do anything re Andrew.
His right in the ( corrupt) bosom of that family and going nowhere
As far as the Windsors are concerned Andrew’s only crime was being caught

The only thing the Windsors are busy doing is name changing on mumsnet to spout royalist nonsense

Kidding!

HoskinsChoice · 26/04/2025 08:06

You're essentially glorifying in the death of a woman in order to put the boot into the royal family. That's pretty sick.

This woman was a victim of abuse way, way before she ever met Epstein. She had a horrific childhood which involved abuse, living on the streets and being passed from foster home to foster home. When Epstein and Maxwell got hold of her, she was lured into prostitution and potentially slept with hundreds of men for money and a high end lifestyle of luxury houses, international travel and private jets.

There is zero evidence that she slept with Andrew and of course there is zero evidence that she didn't. We will never know. What we do know is that Andrew was not even close to being the leader or instigator of anything that happened in her childhood or young adult life. He was possibly a very, very tiny cog in an enormous wheel.

Please don't use this woman's tragic life to push your anti-royal views. It's disgusting to use this to suit your agenda. 'That ginger woman' tells us everything we need to know about you. Go and do something nice and get over your prejudices and discrimination.

This sums it up perfectly. This was a very troubled woman who was sexually abused from the age of 7. She was street homeless as a teenager and again - underage - abused by a sex trafficker. All before she was anywhere near Epstein and Maxwell.

Andrew is a fool and there is no proof either way that what she said happened, happened. But to put 100% of the blame at his door is just madness and very unfair.

I'm hoping PA actual friends will take the same approach but considering,"Lady" Victoria Hervey put a IG post up with the word KARMA on top of VGs post about only having four days to live, I'm not holding my breath.

'Lady' Victoria did WHAT??!!

You know some in this uber-rich privileged class who think they're better than the rest of humanity need to think very seriously about how things like this come across to the 'poor unfortunates'.

Dumb thing to do publicly. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I’m holding my breath for nothing I don’t think a single rapist will be jailed over this Epstein business. Maxwell was the scapegoat, though she’s where she should be.

I wonder how many more Virginias have lost their lives to disgusting predators. My hearts and thoughts are with them all today.

Exactly.

Andrew is not the sharpest tool in the tool box by a long way.
He was as 'vulnerable' as VG in some ways. He was used for many things, for his status and associations, just the same as he was by the 'alleged China spy'.
He's just too dim to see it.

He's surrounded by sycophants who won't tell him anything straight. He's lived in a bubble and all those years ago, he was a type of 'foolish playboy' indulged at home and by everyone else.

SnoozingFox · 26/04/2025 09:20

She also said in an interview that she was "passed around like a platter of fruit" by Epstein to his associates.

I'm not defending Andrew but this narrative that it's all his fault because he was the one who abused her is just factually untrue. He was one of many.

I’m sure she was deeply disturbed and have all sorts of MH issues: it tends to be what’s happens when you spent your youth being raped.

I think people see victims like movie victims - they take deep breaths and find strength and peace by their mid-20’s. Some do. Most don’t.
