To just want nice toilets

Honestly - toilets should all be unisex and completely self contained (floor to ceiling) , lockable with a wash basin in there, a hook for bags and room for a toddler and lots of loo paper.
With glass doors for the entry into the toilet area.
Then all this worry about who else is using them would stop.

Are you American, because in the UK there are many self contained toilets. Many disabled loos in public buildings are self contained rooms with a (proper) door…

Yep, I'm happy to pay for this as well. Been in some grim women's toilets recently, I think a lot of peoples standards have dropped

Edited to add There used to be many years ago some toilets in Northampton by one of the multi storeys, it was sort of circular, that had an attendant. They were always pleasant to use, had vases with flowers and a little pot to put a tip in.

Agreed but they need to be the self cleaning timer toilets like abroad.

only locks you in for 20 mins max, then seals, cleans the entire toilet and cubicle for the next person.
