I'll go first 😆

-Kids sharing rooms
-Complaining about schools or teachers
-Feeling upset about a friend hurting you
-Having more than 1 kid on an income under circa 50-100k, or having more than two on an income under circa 100-150k
-Renting long term
Complaining about dogs being given human rights.
Complaining about grandparents care of DC's 'because it's free so like it or lump it!'

OP posts:

Haha I saw one of the fake grass posts the other day actually!

Oh woe betide you if you sabotage your garden with anything artificial on MN, 😂

BabuFrick · 21/04/2025 23:19

Spelling and grammar. Woe betide if you use an unnecessary apostrophe.

Dysphoria is a medical condition and I don't think there is any denial about that.

sofasoda · 21/04/2025 23:31

Eating more than an 1000 calories a day
Not exercising for 3 hours a day
walking less than 20,000 steps a day
Not making every food item from scratch.
Having good family relations
Liking your friends
Not loving dogs
Anything remotely critical about teachers
As above but about the boomer generation

saltinesandcoffeecups · 21/04/2025 23:32

Clearly all lighthearted threads should be interrupted by a bun fight before they are too amusing 😁. We shall not have lightheartedness here.

crouchendtigerr · 21/04/2025 23:33

Drinking more than a ml of wine of a night
Being too "tiny" or too "curvy"

sofasoda · 21/04/2025 23:33

Oh and you will be judged for not saving money for your dc particularly if you want a few dc but any dc that expect to be helped will also be judged 🤔

crouchendtigerr · 21/04/2025 23:34

To add: I love big dogs, have two GSDs and also have two cats

Ooh that reminds me! Feeding your kids processed food not home cooked meals from scratch every day.....ESPECIALLY baby food in jars or pouches

Conversely, caring about you put in your DC diet also seems to inspire derision.

This one mystifies me and I see it a lot outside Mumsnet too. Why are women being shamed for caring about their kids’ diets??

JandamiHash · 21/04/2025 23:42

Parking in parent and baby spaces when you are a parent and have a baby. Apparently it’s super entitled and just a marketing gimmick that you’d be a fool to fall for. even if you have 2 sets of twins under 2, you should leave that space for the childless man in the Audi TT who legs it into the supermarket like Linford Christie because he might have an invisible disability and he CLEARLY needs that space more.

Because people don't like to be told or want to think they're making shit choices when it comes to parenting. More fool them.

I’ve seen a few threads on here about which of many en-suite bedrooms the children should have. I’ve never ever met a child who had their own en-suite. I would say having a single family bathroom is frowned upon on MN but for me and my friends it’s the norm.

I've also on the flip side, seen comments about ensuites bring pointless, because they're all tiny, and mean dhs' are pooing in the bedroom! 😂 Then comments move to downstairs toilets, and cue ideas on what these rooms should be used for. Quite a lot of property developers on good old MN there is.
