Have you ever visited somewhere that was haunted?

Just that really. Have you ever visited somewhere and had a paranormal experience?

When I was a teen, camping with family in the Lake District I had an experience. The campsite had an odd atmosphere. It felt dead and flat. I woke in the night. It was quiet, I then heard a childlike voice saying it hurts over and over. When I looked outside the tent there was a white silhouette. My dad says it was a nightmare but I was definitely awake

How did I not know about this place?! I'm guessing you've been?

although having seen it on the venue site, it does look like all of those underground venues IYSWIM.

We did the Edinburgh witchery tour around 2001, when I was about 15/16 uncle had been posted to Edinburgh Castle.
We went in the vaults and tunnels under Princess Street i think it was. Had felt perfectly fine all day and night and as we were all stood in one of the values me and my cousin both started to feel really sick. We were stood against the wall and we both felt something laugh in our ears and touch our shoulders. There was no one near us who could have done it. My dad and uncle both felt a hand on their shoulders as well. As soon as we left that vault we felt absolutely fine.
Also previously been to Chislehurst Caves, same cousin touched this supposed cursed rock, next day was in hospital with suspected meningitis having shown no symptoms until after he touched it.
i got married in 2012 at Owlpen Manor, had been on most haunted (not the most reliable programme i know), and my nan saw an elderly gentleman in a Victorian top hat and tails stood outside thr window ( no.one we had invited and he vanished pretty quickly she said). My dad and FIL were outside having a cigar and they both said they had someone touch their backs, yet they were rhe only 2 people outside at the time.

Worst I’ve ever had and till this day I hate thinking about it. I cut through a graveyard, shortcut to get to the other side where the bus was - main road. There is a clear path in there and a gate to enter and exit. It’s a small graveyard, I had taken that shortcut many times before and lots of people do.

it was during the day, I still remember it was summer and very hot and bright. Somehow I got lost in there, from one end to the other is only 2 -3 mins. I didn’t think much of it until for the third time, I just couldn’t seem to stay on the path and I couldn’t get out. I would somehow stray off the path and end up off it and either on top of a grave (flat stone on ground) or just on the grass or something.

I could hear everything going on around me, the hubbub from the main road, cars, people but I just couldn’t get out. I started to pray and somehow I managed to get back on the footpath and made it out onto the main road. I have never gone through that graveyard ever again, nor have I cut through any graveyard since. I have only been to 2 graveyards since and that was for funerals.

I can’t explain what happened to me and it’s so difficult to reconcile especially being a Christian but yeah…only God himself knows what happened and I am so grateful I made it out. Even typing this story seems crazy to me, never would I have thought something like that could happen to me, or these things were real. The bible says the dead are asleep and anything beyond that is not of God, but mmmmhhh. Whatever it is, it messed around with me that day.
