To wonder what happened to these old Mumsnetters?

There was Kewcumber who adopted from abroad as a single lady, there was a mum who always talked about her son Wilf, and there was a very direct, blunt and often right woman who I think wrote with no punctuation, who seemed to be on every thread and gave me lots of harsh truths! Going back a good decade now…

Anyone know what happened to them? Anyone else you wonder about?

My email was hacked/blocked so Mumsnet had to sort out everything for me. Then MN was hacked. I think I might have been called Welsh mist back then.

Has Hullygully been mentioned? Really enjoyed her posts years ago, and her friend whose name I can't remember!

I've been here since near the start (with breaks) and have never, ever been remembered for my sparkling repartee!
Still, I'm impressed by the memories on here - I can't even remember my own name from those days, let alone recall others.

Twitterqueen was a poignant poster some may remember who ran a diary of her cancer battle. My mum was going through it at the same time and her posts gave me a lot of comfort.

I never get remembered here, either, and I was here for the Gina Ford debacle.

Wonder what happened to morningpaper? I liked her.

I was interested in ChopinandChampagne’s threads about her daughter and son-in-law.

There was also a poster who had a new baby and acted like he was the messiah. Her name was something like Felicity/Felicia I think.

I think about a few of the old posters from time to time, especially if I come across their names on an old thread. I still miss Maryz - it was so awful that she was banned. Such a great poster.

I think she’s a Dentist but only because of a very detailed reply on thread once.

Was her son in law the Lobster boy? (or something similar)
I really felt for her, it was a tremendously difficult situation.

I’m pretty sure she’s a nurse. I remember her posting about how traumatised she was after her shifts in the thick of Covid

She's about still. I love her direct no nonsense chat. She's always correct too!

I wonder about her as well. She could be caustic but did give very good advice and I hope she beat her cancer and is living her best life.

as for @kewcumber - I met her in real life a few times. An amazing lady. Her son must be about 21 or 22. After being single for a while, she was v loved up the last time I read something she had posted. She had done an amazing job in raising her son. There were some amazing posters on the adoption board - Lillka, 2old2beamum, lots of wonderful people.

Was it eatshitderek that found out she was pregnant really late - like 30+ weeks? I kept thinking it was AnyFucker but it was definitely someone with a swear word in their name that was a regular poster?
