To wonder what happened to these old Mumsnetters?

There was Kewcumber who adopted from abroad as a single lady, there was a mum who always talked about her son Wilf, and there was a very direct, blunt and often right woman who I think wrote with no punctuation, who seemed to be on every thread and gave me lots of harsh truths! Going back a good decade now…

Anyone know what happened to them? Anyone else you wonder about?

Loads of people knew who xenia was in real life, she shared a lot of details both on here and elsewhere that made it very obvious to work out even now. I think she does still post occasionally

I think I recognise old posters under different names occasionally. Just the odd thing they say.

I've been on MN for over 17 years, but started changing my name almost daily a couple of years ago, after an old MNer recommended doing so for various reasons.

She posted recently.

I saw Wilfs mum on here a few weeks ago I think it was. I only remember it as Wilf posts a fair bit on the city where I live fbk page. Never actually met him but he does post a lot about being lonely.

I always liked Kettrickensmiled's posts. Not sure if they were one of the OGs but I remember the name from a few years ago when I used to spend a lot of my nights on here when my eldest was a baby.

worraliberty seemed to be on every thread and she had some good advice, I just found her superior towards the end. I’m glad the ‘Mumsnet royalty’ thing has passed!

Sadly and kind of unexpectedly, there are a lot of old time posters who have died.

I think many are still here but name change regularly. I have been here 15/16 years or so now. I had the same name for years then started to change it. I change my name every couple of months or so depending on how active I have been.

I think it’s good that era has gone.

The sycophancy was palpable. Posters would suck up to regulars like they were celebrities.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post about Shiney and her date to the zoo ( penguin enclosure from what I can recall) I think I am friends with her on Facebook and she is still hilarious

Xenia is much more chilled these days. I'm polar opposite to her (single parent, never achieved anything) but I have a lot of time for her and she does have a point.
