I'm not, was checking the website for the play off dates. They are there for ten nights, so that's about 3/4 million people or thereabouts.

Appreciating that liking them can be the social equivalent of driving a Skoda in the 1980s, but even so, is anyone on MN going?

Would treat my partner but the prices are ludicrous and I can't justify paying so much when we have more pressing matters.

MellowPinkDeer · 28/03/2025 11:06

Yep. Looking forward to it.

Sinkintotheswamp · 28/03/2025 11:12

Nope. Me and 5 colleagues had pre-sale codes and only reached 10000-ish in the various queues when they went on sale.
A colleagues daughter did get pre-sale tickets but she was using multiple devices.

Thousands of coldplay tickets were hoovered up by bots. If you look on viagogo and stubhub thousands were on there by the afternoon of the sale. There's even blocks of of 7/8/9 seats as they bought so many. Actual people could only book 6. Ticketmaster have no chance against ticket touts.

My colleague said it's the worst sale she's ever tried for.

ZookeeperSE · 28/03/2025 11:15

DDs are taking my Mum! She's a huge fan. DD1 is an absolute ticket ninja, don't know how she does it, but she got these and Oasis tickets straight off the bat and at the reasonable prices before they all shot up. And would never buy from Viagogo and the like so she's in charge of all ticket purchases in this house.

Mummyslittlegiraffe · 28/03/2025 11:16

Yep, bought two tickets for husband as a birthday surprise, he is a huge fan. Me not so much, but they do put on a good live show.

Eight8eight · 28/03/2025 11:17

Yes, with my friends for one night, and with my DC another night. I've been to every tour at least once, followed them all over the place for twenty odd years. It is much harder to get tickets these days though.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 28/03/2025 11:17

Nope...tried. No chance even with the extra dates. Seen a few times though so can't complain but even so annoying when the tickets go to touts and all or resale at stupid prices!!

Chiseltip · 28/03/2025 11:18

Chris Martin can't sing, how on earth did they ever make it . . .

Buttonknot · 28/03/2025 11:34

Me! Really not sure how I managed it as I wasn't using extra devices or anything like that. Just lucky I guess!

DialDrunk · 28/03/2025 11:46

Yes, I’m going with my partner. We both bought tickets without realising the other one was. The tickets are for different nights though so we’re going twice.

I’ve seen them once before and they were really good.

Swiftie1878 · 28/03/2025 11:47

Yep. Really looking forward to it.

Funny, I found it one of the quickest and easiest. Had a presale code, joined the queue at 10,000ish, had my tickets within half an hour.

Oasis on the other hand…. 🤯

Ticketmaster would have to change their sales model, and 'have a chance' if there were laws about ticket sales for large events that reduced ticket touting. Which you could justify on grounds of safety and to reduce organised crime.

Yup, BIL got 6 tickets so going with my two siblings and their respective halves! Can’t wait!

Fizbosshoes · 28/03/2025 13:10

I'm going with my friend (in her 50s) and DD who will be 19.

stanleypops66 · 28/03/2025 13:30

belleface · 28/03/2025 13:40

Nearly88 · 28/03/2025 16:13

hookeywole · 28/03/2025 16:24

Its about the only band we can all agree we like.

Bakerygirl · 28/03/2025 17:07

Not going this time but went couple of years ago. Ticket was £180 but it was so worth it. They are amazing live.
