I mean, her mum is nice looking, for sure. But Michelle is next level!

I assume this is some kind of fishing or joke post? MK’s current face is a product of plastic surgery, cosmetic enhancements, and a shit load of makeup and contouring. I don’t think she looks bad but she does look very plastic and fake to me. I’m surprised she’s managing to cling onto an acting career to be honest.

There are so many women out there that really are naturally beautiful. I’m surprised you’ve picked MK out of all of those 🤔

Petuniaspetal · 23/03/2025 10:39

As if men being judgemental about women wasn't bad enough... we have women being really vile about other women.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 23/03/2025 10:41

Good genes and an excellent surgeon

NamelessNancy · 23/03/2025 10:42

Surely "good genes" confer health, longevity and other positive characteristics rather than applying themselves purely to cosmetics? I've no idea about Michelle Keegan but hope she and her family are happy and healthy.

I think she looks stunning however she’s had at least

nose job
lips (both surgical flip and fillers)
Significant amounts of chin and jawline fillers
cheek filler
significant eye work - at least upper bleph
full dental work
regular Botox
boob job
probably a face lift

then non surgically she has hair extensions lash lift and extensions fake tan etc

she's very beautiful but it’s nothing to do with genes

She also has never commented on what she has or hasn't had which of course is her perogative but I assume it's because there's a very long list of procedures!

notprincehamlet · 23/03/2025 10:47

frillygillymilly · 22/03/2025 23:47

She just has that generic "I bought my face" look which I don't like.

That's exactly it! There's a point on the celebrity career trajectory where suddenly they look like they all got their faces from the same catalogue.

Lentilweaver · 23/03/2025 10:51

I have never really understood why supporting the sisterhood means supporting buying an Identikit face. Every young woman looks exactly alike now. ( and some older women).

I wouldnt start a thread about it but I also won't fawn over Michelle or any woman low on acting ability and high on plastic.

Matronic6 · 23/03/2025 10:54

I just love how we are so supportive of beautiful women on here 😖. Especially those that are successful.

Women destroying other women…girls destroying other girls…just like the playground.

Acknowledging she has had plastic surgery is not nasty, it's realistic. She is very beautiful but she has had plastic surgery, that's a fact.

And it should be acknowledged that she doesn't naturally look like that because women and young peoples self esteem is seriously affected by the beauty standards represented in the media. In schools we have had to do PSHE lessons showing the famous people they are comparing themselves to and coming up short don't even look that way. People are comparing themselves to these impossible standards, pointing out they have been achieved with surgery is not mean, it's just the truth.

KimberleyClark · 22/03/2025 23:35

It’s 30% genes and 70% artificial surgical enhancement.

This

Yes, I'm also wondering just quite what the OP is aiming for here. Has she been back?

Michelle Keegan was pretty in a fairly 'average' way at the start of her career. Nice-looking, but you wouldn't pick her out as a stunner. Now she's basically bought herself a whole new face. Personally I wouldn't consider her to be beautiful now either. She looks very generic 'footballer's wife'. She looked better before.

Lentilweaver · 23/03/2025 10:58

One of DDs friends has just got lip filler. Like us, she is Indian. She doesn't need filler; she has naturally full lips like most S Asians.
It's migrated and gone all lumpy. She was a naturally gorgeous girl who now looks like a goldfish.
I really hate that these are the role models we have for women.

MyWiseGoose · 23/03/2025 07:04

Give over. I don't find anything her DH said offensive. And anyone who loves using words like patriarchal mysoginy sounds like a feminazi twat.

What a horrible phrase

ZebedeeDougalFlorence · 23/03/2025 11:00

Noperope · 23/03/2025 08:13

All the money in the world couldn't make me (or the majority of people) look like that in a bikini so it's not purely down to surgery.

Okay. Surgery and starvation.

(Sorry! I couldn't resist it. Sorry Michelle. I don't mean it).

ManchesterLu · 23/03/2025 11:01

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 22/03/2025 23:57

Oh here we go again more smoke blown up her arse. She knows full well she's stunning so why keep reminding her. It's not an achievement is it, Its all down to genetics.

It's very much an achievement because she's worked on her looks and got surgery/good makeup/great clothes etc.

As many of the before and after pics in this thread shows, it's not all genetics.

To be fair though, I don't know why people are so obsessed.

Surgery etc can be good if it's subtle and well done. But it's an addiction, and before you know it, you look like Katie Price or Sharon Osbourne. It's so sad.

Porcelainpig · 23/03/2025 11:02

If we had her bank balance we'd all look pretty good too. We'd all also look very similar with no character. My partner hates this look because of it. Nothing stands out amongst these women who go for full on cosmetic enhancements.

Arraminta · 23/03/2025 11:02

MK is the product of excellent genes further enhanced by excellent surgery and tweakments. She looks absolutely stunning.

I suspect she's not remotely bothered that some wimmin on here are desperately disparaging her looks.

viques · 23/03/2025 11:03

niuwyoosername · 22/03/2025 23:36

She has unfortunate ears.

Nothing that can’t be fixed……😁

Getting surgery and good makeup/ clothes is now an achievement?
I feel that way about the S and B board too where posters are receiving congratulations for face lifts.
And no, I am not jealous. Can afford surgery. Don't want or need it.

IcedPurple · 23/03/2025 11:03

ssd · 23/03/2025 09:03

I didn't realise she's had so much work done. Bit like kyle jenner, very average looking girl, spent thousands getting plastic surgery, now she's gorgeous. Bella hadid is similar.

The women you mention are examples of cosmetic surgery done well. Blake Lively is another.

I don't think the same is true of Michelle Keegan. She looks 'fake' in a way that these women don't. My first impression on looking at her is that she's had a ton of work done, which really shouldn't be the case. If you notice the 'work' rather than the face, then it's too much.

She's had work done.

However, I'd assume from that picture she takes after her dad. Her mother is not what I'd classify as pretty.

Lentilweaver · 23/03/2025 11:04

Of course MK is not bothered @Arraminta. Neither are most people by what we say on MN.

Better to be beautifully fake than naturally ugly.

As if men being judgemental about women wasn't bad enough... we have women being really vile about other women.

The general consensus I get from this thread is yes she is beautiful, but she has had a lot of surgery and non-surgical procedures. I don't think that's vile or unkind, it is just being honest about how she has got that beauty. I think she's stunning too, but it's a bit unfair to try and convince people it is all genes and taking care of herself, particularly for other women who are feeling insecure about their looks.

BunnyLake · 23/03/2025 11:06

She was naturally very pretty when she started Coronation Street but she’s just another (of far too many) cosmetically altered celebrity faces.

SomethingMorethanthis · 23/03/2025 11:09

PrincessHoneysuckle · 23/03/2025 10:41

Good genes and an excellent surgeon

I hope she doesn't get anymore work done, and overdo it. So many celebrities don't know when to stop, especially as they get older.
