I mean, her mum is nice looking, for sure. But Michelle is next level!

I'm old enough to remember when Michelle Keegan first came into the limelight. She looked nothing like she looks now. Her face shape has changed. Her nose has changed. Her jaw line has changed. Her lips have changed. Her eyes have changed. Her chin has changed.
She's had so much cosmetic work done it's hard to know what's her real face anymore.
I find it disturbing when I look at her face because all I see is aesthetic surgery.
She's got nice hair though, I'll give her that.

She looked better before imo, she was really pretty back then. Looks a bit fake now.

I don’t understand why people judge women for having Botox/fillers/surgery etc. it’s their choice it doesn’t affect anyone else ? Why so much judgment?

Because choices are not made in a vacuum. Why is it that young women feel the need to inject these substances into their bodies like this? Are they really doing it for themselves, like they think that they are, what is the purpose of it all? It does not just affect the individual doing it.

whycantibeselfishforonce · 23/03/2025 09:28

Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back. Who cares if they have or have not had cosmetic surgery? Personal choice is a thing.

Let's stop being vile now shall we? Can we not just raise each other up (especially to new first time Mums like Michelle) rather than being absolute bitches?

cheesestringss · 23/03/2025 09:29

she has way too much done. So many women with too much surgery/fillers have this weird genetic look. I don't understand why anyone would want that. They all start to look alike in a weird way.

mydogisthebest · 23/03/2025 09:33

I always thought how attractive she was but watching her in Ten Pound Poms I thought she now doesn't look very attractive at all. In fact fairly plain

My DH used to work in Security/ Close Protection and had a job some years back at a fundraising event for Children in Need. He met a number of celebs that night. Apparently John Bishop is a bellend, Gary Barlow is a great singer but a bit up himself, Chris Moyles is actually quite down to earth and polite. Anyway, Michelle was there and at the time was dating Max (don’t know his surname) from the boy band The Wanted. At one point during the night she approached my DH and he had to find her a quiet corner and then escort her to a back exit where there was no paparazzi as she was having a very heated argument on the phone with him. They split up not long after and it turned out he’d cheated.

DH said in person she’s tiny (only 5”3-4 and very petite). He said she is very naturally pretty but her ears really stick out, which once you see is hard to not notice.

I am so so so so glad I have never heard my husband express a negative opinion of another woman’s looks. I think my vagina would clamp shut for ever and never reopen.

He is a better man than your husband @gillefc82 for this reason. I hope your husband looks like a young Bruce Springsteen (the most attractive man in the world to me!) if he’s so confident he can make critical remarks about the way women look. I bet he fucking doesn’t, though.

Oh here we go again more smoke blown up her arse. She knows full well she's stunning so why keep reminding her. It's not an achievement is it, Its all down to genetics.

And lots of make up, fillers, botox, and procedures.

OuchyEars · 23/03/2025 09:52

I have no idea who she is, but the woman in the Before pictures looks pretty and vivacious.
The woman in the After pictures is nobody/anybody. I wouldn't recognise After woman in a room full of women, or even in a line up of 3 women. The only way I'd pick her out is if she was the only woman under 50 in the options.
Hopefully she's happy with her generic look, but I struggle to understand someone without obvious deformity ( or witness protection) going through all that pain and expense for an anonymous look.

Nobody is being VILE. Just stating facts. Sure Michelle has always been a cute girl. But to suggest that how she looks now (stunning) is down to good genes (as the OP did,) is both farcical, and plain and simple incorrect ... It's fillers, botox, cosmetic procedures, lots of make up, and a great stylist. It is very little to do with 'genetics.'

NeelyOHara · 23/03/2025 09:56

strawlight · 23/03/2025 09:08

Hang on. OP said “she’s so pretty due to great genes” and people have replied “yes she’s pretty but it’s not just down to genes”. Why is that mean or unkind? It’s factual, no?

The arse lickers don’t like it though.

mydogisthebest · 23/03/2025 09:57

Realityofinvisibility · 23/03/2025 08:14

What’s wrong with her ears ?? They just look like normal ears to me !

I noticed her ears watching Ten Pound Poms. They seem very large and stick out a bit.

NeelyOHara · 23/03/2025 10:03

They are the most shameless couple on Instagram I’ve ever seen, Mark literally begs for anything for free, even pub roast dinners, he’s absolutely shameless.

As for ‘they’ve worked for everything they’ve got’, their finances are a little…..odd no? Living the life of a premiership footballer on Brassic wages and the odd reality TV stint Mark can get…….

I wonder if you really believe that it doesn't affect anyone.
Someone who was on half the nation's telly every week with her natural good looks, goes through multiple surgeries to look completely different in a generic way, whilst still being on the telly and in the limelight.
This isn't someone down the road who works in an office.
Of course it affects many thousands of people, and those it affects most are young women and girls who aren't confident in their own natural good looks.

zingally · 23/03/2025 10:06

I'm also old enough to remember what she used to look like. Just a normal, averagely-attractive girl.
Not sure what you mean about her mum... She just looks like a very normal, slightly overweight woman in late middle age.

Now she's just got that generic "I paid money for this face" look. It's that currently trendy look made famous by the Kardashians. Lots of filler, heavy eye make-up, a nose job and buccal fat removal.

THIS exactly! And the bizarre suggestion that how Michelle now looks, is down to 'good genes,' is both laughable and infuriating in equal measures.

strawlight · 22/03/2025 23:27

Yes she’s very pretty, but has also had quite a lot of work done to her face. I am very glad they’ve finally had a baby!

@strawlight

Are you? Why?

FoolishHips · 23/03/2025 10:14

I don't think anyone with an Instagram face is 'stunning'. I think a beautiful face comes with little 'imperfections' such as an amazing smile with slightly crooked teeth, like Keira Knightly. But that sort of beauty can't be replicated because there's something inexplicable about it. Plus a lot of beauty is about expression and an intelligence that shows in the face and botox destroys all that (if it was ever there to begin with).

I don't understand why 'good genes' only applies to face/body. Angelina Jolie clearly doesn't have good genes health-wise.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 23/03/2025 10:15

"I'm glad they've finally had a baby" is such a weird comment.

I remember first seeing her as Tina in Coronation Street. She was naturally pretty before, and didn't need the plastic surgery done. She looks nothing like her Mum now, who also has a nice face.
She reminds me a bit of Kylie Jenner in the first picture on the link before she also had anything done.

All the posters who believe this thread is genuine and not set up to get them all doing exactly what they’ve done, are not engaging their brains. Either that or they do realise why OP has written the post to include the word genes, but bringing down other women makes them feel better about themselves.

Yes it is. It isn't a productive thing to say imo, because young girls compare themselves to this altered look, and feel inferior. It isn't genes, it is plastic surgery, and unnatural. She looks great now, but didn't need anything done before; she was really pretty then as well.

CareerChange24 · 23/03/2025 02:56

Your husband sounds the bell end. Not John Bishop. What man comments on a woman’s ears. And it’s a bad thing to be petite? If her ears are the only ugly thing about her, shows how stunning she is. Really don’t think it’s her ears that stand out when I’m looking at someone as beautiful as her

Agree. Also at 5, 3 or 5,4 she's only an inch or so off average height so hardly 'tiny'!

Idrinklotsofcoffee · 23/03/2025 10:25

I worked in retail with her a long time ago and she was very pretty. I think she’s had tweakments but she was working with a 10/10 base to begin with.

Mylittlebobble · 23/03/2025 10:30

I can imagine it's hard to say no to enhancements if you're in that industry and seeing pictures of yourself all the time. Coupled to that the rejection that comes with the job, it might be easy to think 'if I just fix my lips I'll get more parts'. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and she just really likes her new look.

Joanne Froggatt looks so much more natural though -clearly has not had her lips done.
