Lemon and sugar has got to be the best. Lemon first then sugar so it sticks to the Lemon, rolled up and then more Lemon and sugar on the top. just has to be said.

Golden syrup and lemon juice.

Nutella for DC1, Nutella and banana for DC2 and Greek yogurt and berries for DC3

DP has had a mashup of Nutella, ice cream and berries.

Just doing mine now, I have so far had a lemon and sugar and then a Nutella with strawberries and squirty cream
i think the next one will be golden syrup and I’m tempted to put some salt on it as suggested above

We've just had lemon and sugar for round one and then strawberries and M&S hazelnut spread for dessert.

Lemon and sugar is great, but my go to is M&S blonde choc spread and raspberries… having mine shortly and I can’t wait!

Pure smug MN cliche here, but I made my own Nutella for the pancakes today! So good and pretty easy. I don't think I can choose between that and sugar and lemon. Joint first.

Golden syrup

cadburys caramel and chocolate spread has proved a hit here tonight with bananas.

Old favourite is Nutella, strawberries and squirty cream.

DH is a maple syrup fan, I like mine retro with lemon and sugar.

I will admit, we all had one of each of the above and voted. It was a four way split

We usually have ham and cheese followed by strawberries and melted chocolate

Butter and honey is also nice. Generous on the butter, sparing on the honey.

Fluffy American pancakes with two sauces:

1. warm mix of maple syrup and butter
2. blueberries cooked with sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice

We do savoury crepes for main course, with cheese, ham, tomato etc, then American style for dessert with choices of maple syrup, jam, berries, skooshy cream. I don't know why we only do it once a year, they're so good!

I can't eat food any more, and before that I had most of my bowel removed, so yeah, big amounts of food was a no go. All you can eat buffets are my nemesis.

They all sound delicious. Love feta cheese and parsley or melted chocolate like buttons , twix etc

Smoked salmon, avocado and rocket all rolled up into a wrap shape, grated cheese sprinkled on top to melt.

Tesco sent me 5 limes instead of 5 lemons today in my online shop (it wasn’t even a sub, clearly someone thought they were interchangeable)
so I had lime and sugar which was surprisingly nice!

Canned cherry pie filling and vanilla ice cream is my favourite. Fond memories of 1980s Little Chef’s cherries jubilee!
