AIBU to feel it’s inappropriate to have “Dynamite”, who is a skimpily-dressed gladiator on a kids’ show?

She appears on segments of the new series, IMO flirting with the handsome twin Black doctors, Raph and Dan, calling them “boys”. It just seemed sexualised to me.

I’ve attached a picture of her, this is how she dresses on the show.

Steel was on the Cbeebies panto this year in his costume.
He was really good too- proper got into the swing of things, singing and dancing.

I really love the Gladiators and I'm chuffed to bits that my 4 year old DS enjoys watching and cheers for everyone. His favourite is Fire.

1 - She isn't half naked. She is wearing her Gladiators costume which is just standard workout gear.

2 - What does the ethnicity of the doctors have to do with anything? How many other twin doctors called Raph & Dan are there, that you felt the need to add this detail to differentiate between them..?

Professional runners wear less. Professional gymnastics have leotards that barely cover their genitalia. This outfit is pretty tame.

Plus, even if it was skimpier, does it matter? We all have a body.

I think the issue is more about why you find it offensive? My DS wouldn't look at this costume twice.

I 100% agree OP but you won’t get much agreement on here. It's the current trend to dress inappropriately in all aspects of life. Last year we had a mum picking up her kids in hot pants and a sports bra! Another sent her twin 9yr old girls to a party in the same! 9yr old girls in hotpants & a sports bra! Just wrong
