DLA Waiting times 2025

Good morning, I am new to this.
I applied for Dla for my daughter in October 2024. Scan date 16th October 2024.
I caved in and called yesterday, told that someone has been assigned to her case now. Does anyone have a rough idea or similar situation as to how long a decision takes after being told this?

No nothing seen people on FB say they have had there's done in 4 weeks but on my letter it says 15 weeks

yeh mine says 15 weeks did yours have a scan date x

Submitted a form for one of my DC in March. Haven't got a decision yet...

It did scan date the 1st July did yours

yes i think mine was the 25th june i have heard with renewals they dont do them until near your renewal date x

Our scan date was March and we received a payment Friday and award letter on Saturday.

When I took my DD application to the post office they said there is no way to pay for tracked/recorded postage with the address that is given!? They said they needed a postcode, but I couldn't find one anywhere online!

My sons renewal was scanned on 1st may I got my decision in the post today 4th August. Letter is dated 28th July

I also applied for my daughter scan date same as my sons renewal 1st may. No decision as of yet. They did ask for her birth certificate though

My child is the 13th of October they scanned it on 1st July did you get the same rates

Yes my son got middle rate care and low mobility same as last time

I just rang to see if my daughters claim has been looked at. Scan date also 1st may. They have just told me a decision has been made but they can't tell me. I haven't received a text message. So I am guessing its been declined.

Just an update. Rang back and chose dla enquiries option 4 on the menu the last one. And spoke to an advisor who told me my daughter was awarded high rate care done yesterday.

Sent my renewal back 9/05, claim due to run out end of July, got the award letter 4 weeks after sending forms to say HRC, HRM until 2037.
