DLA Waiting times 2025

Good morning, I am new to this.
I applied for Dla for my daughter in October 2024. Scan date 16th October 2024.
I caved in and called yesterday, told that someone has been assigned to her case now. Does anyone have a rough idea or similar situation as to how long a decision takes after being told this?

Hi I got my forms Monday hopefully will be done this weekend and then can be sent off have you heard anything yet

How much information did you send with your form

well the only new evidence i had was her ehcp an apointment letter and a report from the peadiatrician about her apointment that she had over teams we are still waiting on a fave to face apointment but i did also send the evidence that i sent in last time just incase x

I have his letters and his echp from last time as still waiting on school for the renewal I do have his diagnosis papers work as well I am going to send his paperwork from before what is relevant

Why on earth is it so bloody hard getting in contact with them? I just want to make sure my evidence was received. This system isnt for for purpose

I have sent my paperwork today i didn't think we had to pay for postage but my post office charged me 7.00

You dont pay if you send it to the free post address, but if you want it tracked and signed for you've to pay

Hi when you sent your renewal back did they let you know when they received it

ive not had a txt or anything yet to say they had recieved it

My renewal is due on the 15th should I call ?

I did it says they got it yesterday at 1.36 just got to wait now I will call next week to see if they have scanned it in

Renewals typically arent done to the day before award ends at the moment so id leave it to a few days before award ends before calling

yesterday i recieved a letter saying theyve recieved my forms

How many days after they receive them did you get letter

10 days

Hi I have had my letter today to say they received my forms and that it can take up to 15 weeks and they can contact doctors or other people involved with him
