I say Idris Elba and he's never too old

Idris Elba is not only too old, but also too much of a big name. (And probably too expensive). Most Bond actors are not such big names at the start of becoming Bond. The same goes for Henry Cavell.

5 years ago, I'd have suggested Dick Van Dyke; but he's probably starting to get a little approaching the too-old side now.

Another vote for Henry Caville. I think he’d give the franchise a new lease of life. I was CONVINCED he’d quit The Witcher to do it and that they were filming in secret.
I do wish they’d got Idris years ago, he’d have been perfect. Aaron Pierre is warming to me too, he’s my second choice.

I don't know. Sean Connery was only in his early 30s (and pretty much unknown) at the start and he went on to have a pretty good and lengthy career after leaving, even having been "the" Bond against whom all others are measured. He knew when to quit it though and I'm not sure it wouldn't limit an actor who is already very well known (Cavill, Elba) with an already successful career.

Have you seen The Rivals? Danny Dyer is really good in that. He was one of Harold Pinter's favourite actors.

I'm not suggesting him for Bond though.

Not sure on who should be the Bond replacement, but I think the 'baddy' should be Feathers McGraw.

It would bring some credibility back to the Bond Franchise.

I will accept nobody but Henry Cavill.
