I think it should be the guy from the first series of Bridgerton who left

Leo Woodall is so hot but kind of in a cheeky way - i don't think i can see him as Bond

I think it will be Idris Elba though

@TheKeatingFive I really don’t think you would have a 21 year old James Bond- 12,years ago then maybe!! in the books by the way he’s late middle aged- not some hot, fit young thing

I did correct myself 😂

outerspacepotato · 24/03/2025 13:19

Regé Jean Page.

Crikeyalmighty · 24/03/2025 13:22

@TheKeatingFive ha, ha - I missed that !!

TheKeatingFive · 24/03/2025 13:38

Great to see the love for RJP building

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 24/03/2025 13:41

In my opinion Henry Cavill has the charisma of a potato. So dull it makes him unattractive.

Davros · 24/03/2025 14:43

I think he’s about 35 in the books. I still say Tom Hughes.

RobertaFirmino · 24/03/2025 15:05

What about Sam Claflin?

LushLemonTart · 29/03/2025 10:32

Has anyone mentioned Theo James?

MrsSkylerWhite · 29/03/2025 11:47

Bertie Carvel is suave, posh, intelligent and gorgeous, though possibly too old now.

Has anyone mentioned Theo James?

Yes I did a while ago... after watching him in The Gentleman, he'd be perfect aye?!

spicemaiden · 29/03/2025 14:00

Idris Elba all the way

I thought everyone had already agreed that Matt Berry was next.

Edited

I would LOVE this 🤣

Yes he's a dish. I saw him in that and the White lotus.

AramintaLee · 29/03/2025 22:35

Paul Mescal gets my vote. He has those steel blue eyes. Yeah he's Irish, but that wasn't a problem for Pierce Brosnon. I think he has that rogue-ish charm about him that would work for rookie Bond (if they go down the "early days" route)

PurpleFlower1983 · 29/03/2025 22:39

Gillian Anderson - time for a strong woman to take the reins!

A bit strange too, did you see that interview he did on morning TV?

He’s great though!

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 21/02/2025 12:21

I can very much see this, he's so hot

For me Theo James is out of the running as a sexy Bond type - I just can't stop thinking about him in the Inberweeners movie, where his character got poo up his nose when he thought he was doing cocaine...

I fancy the pants off Matt Berry, so that would suit me!

Lalgarh · 12/07/2025 00:26

I'm currently watching Thunderball and am grossed out by Connery's chest hair.

His combover toupee is quite noticeable though. And in some scenes he seems to be wearing guyliner

StHilarion · 12/07/2025 00:59

Shaun Evan’s or Cillian Murphy

Fandango52 · 12/07/2025 01:04

I really hope it’s James Norton, but I think he might’ve been discounted as ‘too old’. Even though I strongly disagree!

He's only 39?

Fandango52 · 12/07/2025 11:04

LushLemonTart · 12/07/2025 08:29

He's only 39?

I know - that’s why it winds me up when people say that! I think it’s partly because he’ll be in his late forties by the time he films a couple of instalments, so people journalists think he shouldn’t play JB, but I disagree. I’m sure Daniel Craig was about 38/39 when he started out as James Bond and it didn’t matter to me at all. I didn’t see a problem with it.

LushLemonTart · 12/07/2025 11:10

Yes Daniel Craig did it for 15 years didn't he?

DataColour · 12/07/2025 13:12

I really want James Norton to be Bond too. Shall we start a petition 😎
