To think she is tone deaf? Just watched her on This morning doing a supermarket Valentines meal segment.

She slated the food from Asda and it took Ben to point out that it was only £11 for the 2 meals, it tasted nice and it was great value. Utterly tone deaf to what a huge majority of the population can afford.

She was also incredibly rude constantly talking over the lady presenting the meals. So much so that Ben had to ask for it to be repeated.

Well two ready meals for £11, is hardly likely to be top notch. I will try to watch it on +1, as I am intrigued now.

The Asda meals are on par with m&s and Waitrose IMO...

I think its just the show, its awful. I don't think anyone who appears on it comes off well Holly Willoughby used to seem so stuck up and false on it as well, I mean she might be but the format is just so old and tired now its time to sack it off.

She's always so manic and over exaggerating gestures and facial expressions, it's just too much. Think she lived out in la la land for too long.

I used to really like her but she’s just too manic. Too me me me and not letting the guests speak.

I like her but she’s just not suited to this job. She interrupts and talks over people every single day. It makes uncomfortable viewing.

I now only watch if it’s Alison or Josie.

I watched and didn't find her rude but I wish they wouldn't shove food in their mouths with microphones picking up every slurp and chomp noise. (I'm aware this is a me issue and people can't help making noises when they eat but I hate it)

I did catch this segment today. Tbf she did say lots of nice things about the food it was just the dessert from Asda that she said she didn't like. Ben was just calling her fussy etc. It was a panna cotta type thing and she was complaining about the texture of it. She did say it was like baby food which was perhaps a little too much - but perhaps it was awful! Fair enough she didn't like it. I think it would have been wrong for them to just say it was all delicious if they didn't think it was. It was just her opinion. Also I think she did talk over the lady who was explaining the food to them a little bit but I'm sure that was because they were running out for time and Cat would have had the producer shouting in her ear to move things along.

Is there any need for misogyny and ageism? She's in her late 40s, by the way.

Have seen it now, and think that other than the baby food comment, and acting as if she had no teeth, she was fine. It makes a change from people being false all the time on those sorts of programmes, pretending that they like everything. I think that they should bin the likes of TM, Loose Women, and all Ant&dec shows, personally, oh, and Lorraine, in fact just bin ITV altogether!

I don’t know why, when I said old tripe anyone thought I meant either presenter! I meant the show!

Just had a watched that segment, I agree she was rude. Busy showing off to Giles instead of listening and focusing on the food. I would have told her off!

I only caught a little bit of it this morning, never usually watch it and not familiar with her but she kept talking over the male presenter which was so bloody rude.

Yes! So my post was deleted! I meant This Morning has had its day! Jeez. As if I’d speak about either woman in a derogatory way! Clearly they don’t know what old tripe means. Means rubbish here in South London
