To say that Craig David is the best vocalist in the UK?

Saw CD in Milton Keynes last night and his voice was of incredible - of angelic perfection. It was incredible to hear him live. I read today that Elton John said in 2013 that he thought CD had the best voice in the UK.

Just can't stop thinking about how good CD sounded last night!

That made me laugh too. 😆 Do you think the OP is bitter and angry that Leigh Francis did such a brilliant and accurate impression of Crag David? 😂

Craig David gave his full permission for Leigh Francis to send him up. Not Leigh's fault that Craig is a bit average, and his career hit the rocks.

I genuinely had no idea that Lemar was a) still performing or b) supporting Craig David!

I guess I just subconsciously connect them both in my head, and back in the FA days of the millennium, Lemar had a lovely voice. But nice to know that he's also still going ❤️

Keith lemon is a grade a twot and bully IMHO. And really not funny which is a prerequisite for being a comedian, I always heard.

DP is what the layperson would call 'a roadie'. He worked with him at a rehearsal studio last week.

Craig David is on his 'nice list' because he seems like a decent bloke and always thanks them personally when they do all his fetching and carrying.

Unlike Kanye West who made them all stand outside in the rain while he was on stage. I told DP to let him put his own shit away when he messaged me while waiting to do the load out.

Yep LEMAR was waaaaaaaay better than Craig David. Much more talented. Much better voice. He should have had MUCH more success!

I think he's incredibly talented and underrated.. he's definitely up there.

As far as current singers go, Sam Smith is also very good.

Past singers, Jimmy Somerville and George Michael (RIP George)

A lot out of the incredible soul and r&b singers have come from the States, probably due to growing up Gospel singing in church.

I think you'll find that Mika is the best vocalist in the UK 😁 When he's actually in the UK of course, which isn't often enough.

Me too 😁 You must mean Leeds as that's the only UK date he's announced so far this year.

I saw GM sing live and he also sang faultlessly foe two hours straight in 2007 ish at earls court. CD impressed me even more than GM.

It's fascinating how and why some vocalists cam keep their voices in good condition for decades and other people's voices age. GM wasn't exactly known for clean living so I've always wondered how he managed to sound good live for so long. Is it just anatomical good luck?
