We live in a democracy, people are entitled to their views and if they choose populist ideas and views that is democracy. What I find disappointing is the way the majority have been silenced and this has led to people feeling that the only way they can be heard is making a statement through their vote, I honestly believe that is what happened with Brexit, votes for UKIP and Reform. Many people are fed up with their views which are quite mild being labelled as and "its" of "phobia" and being told they are non pc when really they just hold quite main stream views.
