Black jeans or cargo trousers to Guns ‘n’ Roses concert?

We are going to see GNR at Wembley in June. My son wants to wear cargo trousers!!?? Ok? Me, I’m thinking black jeans and black T-shirt? Thoughts?

Being a bit of a “rocker”‘I’ve always worn black jeans and T-shirts to rock concerts (but that was the 80’s) maybe things have changed since then 😀

I would find jeans too hot if the weather was hot and would go for cargoes.

I wore black jeans 24/7 and my then boyfriend wore combats 24/7back in 01/02 when we saw Guns 'n Roses and no-one (including us) gave a flying fuck what we were wearing, as we were there for the experience.

Why is it something as simple as picking what clothes to wear such a big deal that a decision can't be made without asking on the internet these days?

All I remember from seeing them in Milton Keynes circa 1993 is I wore brand new Puma trainers (turquoise) and people were throwing cups of piss around. Then our car got stuck in the mud and it took hours to leave the venue.

What are you concerned about OP? Is it heat/cold/comfort related? Otherwise I'm not really sure why what you wear is even important?

Cargo trousers or cargo shorts if it is hot are always a good bet for an outdoor gig in summer.

I have a bad obsession over what I'm wearing, we are doing Munich in June, planning - black jeans, guns n roses t shirt, gnr at the top, then skull with slash hat, it has metal bits on it for decor. Defo my cowboy boots. Also have a fringed jacket but thinking it will be too warm for that. And I will have a red bandana just for a couple of fun pics! Heavy make up!!

👋 I was there. If I remember right The Cult came on and it started pissing down and didn't stop. I wore leggings and a t shirt and had to sit sopping wet down to my underwear on the 4 hour coach drive home.
