Black jeans or cargo trousers to Guns ‘n’ Roses concert?

We are going to see GNR at Wembley in June. My son wants to wear cargo trousers!!?? Ok? Me, I’m thinking black jeans and black T-shirt? Thoughts?

Me too 😂 still like rocking my black skinnies and leather jacket occasionally but just got bored with the limited style. These days I can often be found sporting a blazer, my teenage me would have been horrified!

I've only selected YABU because I genuinely can't understand a dilemma over what type of trousers to wear to an event where there will be about 90,000 other people standing around you.

You could wear trousers made out of sausages and I doubt anyone would notice.

I'm going to a different (alt rock/metal) gig at the weekend and I'll be wearing cargo pants, good secure pockets to hold my stuff when I'm bouncing around a mosh pit! 😂

There are a lot of mean remarks to OP here. It’s normal to be excited about a concert that is months away.

With the cargo trousers, just be careful how much you have in your pockets if it delays the security check line

Obviously no woman ever wanted to express her style when walking to a concert, going to the pub before it, chatting to strangers in the ladies or on the bus afterwards, or simply for fucking fun.

This. Pockets are good but seriously, either will be fine. There will be people wearing both and all manner of other stuff and no-one will care.

DP and I are very excited about the Black Sabbath farewell gig that's just been announced. DP because he's what's known as 'a roadie' to the layperson so he might get to work it and me because if he does, he'll be able to get me in for free.

DP will be wearing what he wears to work, which is black cargo shorts and whatever t shirt he's given by the people he's working for and I'll probably be wearing black cropped cargo pants.

Being excited about it is entirely normal. Not being able to choose between two entirely normal types of trousers without the help of the Internet is entirely bizarre.

Me too. What's funny now is that a lot of the old rockers, grungies and indie kids have teen/young adult DC and they have to put up with their offspring patronisingly telling them about this band they've discovered who're like, really old, but quite cool. Of course the parents won't have heard of them, but they're called The Offspring, The Pixies or singers like Kate Bush.

Just wear something comfortable, these outdoor events can be a long day. I am jealous as love Guns n Roses, saw them without Slash and Duff few years ago and it was a fantastic show, Manchester Arena though. Enjoy 😀
