When do you get your partner a gift?

I am not talking about the spontaneous one that you may get to your significant other out of the blue because you saw something and you liked it.

I am asking about the planned gifts that each of you knows that you will get each other.

AIBU - Christmas & birthday & anniversary & valentines (wedding/engagement etc.) and any possible fixed date that is important

AINBU - Probably once a year , most likely for his birthday

Christmas and birthdays.
For Valentine's Day and anniversary of our first date I get him a card and chocolate. He gets me a card as well and in the past has got me flowers.
I did happen to get him an advent calendar this year but only because he had hurt his back so I asked his daughter what we should get him as a get well present and she chose an advent calendar.
He goes on holiday a couple of times a year and usually brings me back a present. It's been a toblerone or perfume before.
I've never got him an Easter egg.
