To always dress my baby in a sleepsuit

My baby is 3 months old and he only wears vests and sleepsuits. We have a few outfits that were gifted but I don't put him in them really because changing is a faff. Even body suits with socks, the socks don't stay on so fuck that. I've started taking him to baby classes now and in the 3 classes we've been to he was the only one in a sleepsuit. Does nobody else do what I do or is it like, considered lazy or something like if I came to baby class in my pyjamas?

Babies look adorable in babygros.

Ultimately all the worry about jeans/babygros etc is all just about in-group signalling that you are dressing your kid in the current 'correct' outfit for your child for your section of society in this point in time. None of it matters in terms of a baby being warm, comfortable and clean.

Some people will definitely judge. I wouldn't take my kid out in a sleep suit past 3 months but I wouldn't judge anyone for being practical. So long as the clothes are clean don't worry about what others think of you

My twins I dressed in proper clothes every single day, they looked ridiculous, they were SO tiny!

My third - babygros all the way lol! I did have clothes for him, but at 3 months I just didn't bother. When he was born he was more than the weight of both his brothers put together

He is your baby, you can dress him however you like so long as he's clean, warm and comfortable. Plenty of time later for other clothing.

Thus. The reverse snobbery of those who pontificate about dressing their babies kb the only sensible outfit as it's supposedly more comfortable etc is unbearable.

Dress your bavy how you want and let others do likewise.

Babies in babygros are totally fine, I reckon. Babies don't have a waist, their tummy is the biggest bit, so tops ride up, trousers wriggle down, socks fall off. A babygro keeps them warm, comfy and held together. Mine were in them pretty much all the time as babies, and then dungarees and tights were very handy for toddlers, as they stop the same issues!

Beaten only by the secondary snobbery of those who think they’re morally above either party..!

The only judgement on here really has been about those who dress babies in the stiffer uncomfortable jeans (which some people seem to refuse to believe exist).
