To think that Musk is now overstepping himself and the UK gvt should threaten action

Musk has just posted this on twitter (among other unhinged tweets). To me this reads as a thinly veiled threat to democratically elected UK MPs and actually the UK government should consider sanctions to the US if he continues this attack when he enters the White House?

'I do not consent' on X search Jess Phillips tweets - I think she has got rid of most already

The issue really should NOT be about Elon. The real issue is why did politicians, police and counsellors allow the systematic abuse and violence of children. The truth if you are sincere about it is “the vote bank” of those communities.

All that is required for evil to prevail if for otherwise good people to look the other way. Labour did not look the other way; they actively participated in the cover up.

All children are precious. Starmer has violated fundamental principles of humanity.

Don’t be so silly. Your hyperbole makes you look ridiculous. The evil that is threatening to prevail is Musk.

Musk (with whom you are apparently so matey that you are on first name terms) is a megalomaniac. He thinks his immense wealth means he should get the ultimate say in what happens in every other country in the world, whether or not it is a democracy. I would have thought there are enough obvious injustices for him to focus on in his own country.

I don't see how you're supporting free speech, in what way do you think it is being impaired?

Someone was talking earlier about banning his viewpoint being heard. That was what I was arguing against

ABetterYou · 10/01/2025 17:11

The issue isn't Musk interfering as much as encouraging people to think...These days Thinking independently is a superpower LOL 😀

If it is silly or ridiculous how do explain former Rochdale Labour MP Simon Danczuk claim that senior Labour figures prioritised electoral concerns over justice for victims.

Danczuk claims former Labour Party chairman Tony Lloyd, warned him against focusing on the predominantly Pakistani Muslim identity of those convicted in the Rochdale grooming scandal. According to Danczuk, Lloyd feared that such discussions would alienate voters, particularly in constituencies with significant South Asian communities.

The sad thing is, so much time wasted all round on this absolute bullshit, and treating people with utter contempt.

What, the Simon Danczuk who falsely claimed over £11k in residency allowances for children who didn’t actually live with him, paid it back when discovered and was lucky to escape prosecution for fraud? The same Simon Danczuk who sent explicit sexual messages to a 17-year-old girl working in his office?

But even if what he said was true, that doesn’t change the fact that Elon Musk should mind his own business and not try to encourage the overthrow of the democratically elected government of another country, or call any of that country's elected politicians vile and completely unjustified names.
