Inspired by the other long running thread. I keep reading that he tweets and retweets racist comments. Can anyone link any or all of them please? I see tweets over illegal immigration, as opposed to immigration, but not racist?

So instead of opinions please can people post the actual words used or retweeted? Or anything he said in interviews, word for word?

I think I would disagree, if u are also Neurodiverse, u seem quite set in your ways about how amazing musk is and how awful stamer is ! U have had multiple reasons why musk is considered racist which u seem to dismiss and mention starmer every 3rd comment! Which isn't even anything to do with if musk is considered racist! I'm obviously not saying u should now belive musk is anything different to what u think but it when a conversation is about one person musk its rather annoying when every 3rd comment is about someone else !

I don't find it "sad* what I do find sad is when he said something like people don't know what it's like to be me and they wouldn't want to be me. Or something like that, meaning he has struggles.

It was always going to happen, you asked people to provide something that doesn’t exist. People would like it to exist, so they talk as if it does exist and carry on with their opinions about the said non- existent thing.

There’s a tendency in certain quarters to construct a strawman to argue about. This is preferable to discussing reality, because reality rarely fits the narrative.

Maybe I’m just trying to offer a different perspective - could argue the opposite if you want?

But Starmer is objectively shit. I mean I could make things up and twist them to write something different but you must admit he’s doing a crap job by anyone’s standards

If ur responding to a antisemitic tweet and calling it 'the truth' I would assume ur also being antisemitic?! No?!

Well as I said before this thread isn't about starmer so I'm not responding to all that. He might he the worst prime minister we have ever had. But this subject is about is musk racist and a danger to democracy. And I'm focusing on that. As I have shown examples. Which was asked for and u seem to think there wouldn't be any.

Actually, if you read the tweet it says one group is blaming white people, Musk is agreeing that that comment is racist. Whether or not original quote was anti semitic is a question open to debate and therefore it’s disingenuous to say Musk was being anti semetic.

Looking at the comments as a whole, the pattern is musk is against racism - but controversially for many on the left he includes comments and acts against white people as being capable of being racist.

I actually think musk is more dangerous to democracy than the racism, but that does obviously fed into it. I think the right wing movement that seems to be going more and more extreme and being normalised, into facisim is worry for general stability of world. I'm genuinely worried about my girls future. Musk is just a arm of that. A rich man who seems to think he has right to have an opnion on world governments, when really he's just a citizen who has brought his way into American goverment not the rest of the world. These little spats he seems to have with our PM is just a way to try and stick an oar in , and rile up the right wing, which seems to be working !

I think though your view is unbalanced. I don’t think it’s just unelected people to the right it is also to the left. We have seen left politics getting more and more extreme so the right has done the same.

The problem is extremism on both sides of the political spectrum

I am curious as to which people are extreme left and what is extreme left? Like extreme right is fascist dictator, what is the opposite? I have no idea! and I have seen the rise of extreme right being normalised since trump got in in 2016. Project 2025 is Christian nationalism which is very extreme right. We will see how much of project 2025 happens but trump has appointed the lead author in a position and a lot of authors was ex trump govemrent first time around

Pretty much. If they launch an enquiry into child sexual abuse gangs, I hope they don't limit the focus to Asian men only perpetrators. That wouldn't serve children's interest best. That's the danger with the way that Musk has framed the issue, that it protects other perpetrators from scrutiny by focussing on one group.

Hmm I see what you mean. In answer to your original post I don't think anyone has answered your question in providing any quotes of actually being racist.

However there were accusations that he may have faked being good at computer games and at his age for some unknown reason apparently this may indicate racism??

Anyway the point is that he is no fan of the current left wing Labour Government. And as a result those on the left rather than present a structured counter argument instead revert to form of trying to silence opposing views by accusing him of racism, anti semitism, drug addiction, mental ill health and a new one on me "being a computer game cheat".

All this proves to me is that the real threat to freedom of speech and the real threat to democracy today is very much coming from the intolerant left.
