Elon Musk and Racism

1000 replies

raincoatwarmcoatlongcoat · 03/01/2025 20:36

Inspired by the other long running thread. I keep reading that he tweets and retweets racist comments. Can anyone link any or all of them please? I see tweets over illegal immigration, as opposed to immigration, but not racist?

So instead of opinions please can people post the actual words used or retweeted? Or anything he said in interviews, word for word?

Thanks!

Yes, the UK do it too, you have a point there.

But Musk is not a force for good and his meddling is bad for ordinary British folk.

Until he actually bombs a country under the pretence that they might have some weapons of Mass Destruction, then there is no way his 'meddling' is as bad as what the Labour Party have been responsible for. The same guy that pressed that particular button has been funded for decades to try and clean up his own mess and look where we are now. And yet he is pulling the strings behind what the so called Labour Party is doing now.

justteanbiscuits · 06/01/2025 15:45

People from ALL parties going out for work experience on an American campaign is not meddling in their politics. Seriously!

If you mean Blair, I hate that murderous rat faced twat even more than Musk.

But I still don’t want Musk having any influence on the world stage.

I don't want Bill Gates buying up all the land on the cheap as every farming family that loses a farmer has to sell up to pay the inheritance tax.

Musk is a false flag to take the attention away from what is really going on. Which is why Starmer isn't really worried about it all.

ToWhitToWhoo · 06/01/2025 15:53

AlisonDonut · 06/01/2025 08:40

OP serious question.

What do you think of the Labour Party sending 100 'volunteers' out to the USA to assist in Kamala Harris' campaign. Do you know the economic status of all or any of them, bearing in mind Starmer stated that they were 'volunteering' which means surely must have been in an economic situation to be able to do that for free? What would the financial cut off be for helping the Democrats in the USA election?

What do you think of Farage, Johnson and Truss going to the Republican National Convention to support Trump? What do you think of Truss constantly talking about how wonderful Trump is and how we need someone like him here? What do you think of Farage and his Trump obsession?

It's not just on one side!

But in any case none of these people is the richest person in the world and in a position to spend masses of money on getting far-right (or any) people into office in other countries. Though it now seems that even Farage is nor quite far-right enough for Musk, so who knows what will happen here.

AlisonDonut · 06/01/2025 15:54

Musk only got involved in politics due to the disastrous policies of the Democrats. This is the Left's fault, every single bit of it.

Absolute rubbish.

And the Democrats are centre, not left.

If it is illegal for people to register companies in the UK, then report it.

Just for a bit of perspective - civilisation didn’t begin with laws and morals that we still abide by today. This stuff evolves with the needs and consensus of the current society.

it’s a bit to easy to kick back your heels and say ‘it’s not illegal so everything is fine’. Laws are in a state of constant flux depending on the society living under them at the time.

I hate AI don't get me wrong. But the UK have bigger threats than Musk. And they are already in the halls of Downing Street.

EM supports racists

Racists support other racists

nothing new there

Racism does not need to be said/posted explicitly it can be expressed in other ways, people are choosing to claim ignorance over this is pathetic

at least be honest about supporting racists

Good job I did not make that argument.

But Elon was not one of them.

Oh no his behaviour and the things he retweets have made very clear to me he is not one of SA’s anti-racists!

He is very true to his cultural heritage.

Democrats aren’t left.

The economist did a review of key platform policies and the Democrats are more closely aligned with the British Conservative Party.

LeaderBee · 06/01/2025 13:37

Woke might used to have meant that but now its meaning has evolved into " If you don't agree with my liberal leftist beliefs, then you are racist and homophobic"

Yes, you just have to say the Austrian Painter was right and his policies should be implemented for all useless eaters in this country and the liberal lefties jump down your throat and cancel you and say you are racist.

They are so truth phobic and anything that does not conform to their version of reality is considered racist.

What policies are left leaning

Identity politics isn't necessarily left leaning its how the world is progressing, the Democratic party is left to the Republican party but not compared to European parties

In the most Democratic of all states the support for people on low wages and those who have mental health conditions is shockingly poor (and better than in some states) but there is certainly nothing left leaning in the policies we would be absolutely horrified if people were treated by the state here as the people most in need are in the US

Yes that's because the tories are left too (and why they lost the election as alot of their supporters either went to Reform or didn't vote.

😂

Truss was such a socialist and Bongo Johnson a real dyed in the wool Marxist. No wonder people prefer the Nazi Reform Party.

Serpentstooth · 06/01/2025 21:22

We must be mistaken. It's part of the raison d'etre of Brexit and Reform supporters that they hate foreigners interfering in UK politics. They've dragged our country through the pile of Brexit shit to ensure we're not contaminated by any foreign influence infiltrating our sturdy British thought processes. So what's going on with the Musk worship? Sticking his grubby fingers into Brit Politics? Tsk.

The roots of the Democrats are left, they are the "people" party, similar to Labour and Labour's roots. Both Labour and Democrat seem to have entirely lost their way in this respect - hence Democrats losing. Interesting about the economist review though.

So why do you think Labour sent 100 volunteers, to support a party which is more like the Conversative party than the Labour party?

@AlisonDonut to answer your q, one theory (I am not saying it is mine) is that the "unelected person behind the scenes" which controls the Democrats is the same "unelected person" who controls UK politics, all is explained thus!
