Specifics: elf suit and pyjamas with santa on.
They aren't xmas decorations, so are fair game to still wear past this weekend right?

I wear my sparkly penguin ones all year!

MurderousFrieda · 03/01/2025 12:40

It would be a massive waste not to.
who cares? I wore my Father Christmas songs all year around

anonny55 · 03/01/2025 12:43

I wear mine all year round

Autumn1990 · 03/01/2025 12:45

New before Christmas but worn all year here. Same for Halloween stuff

Bournetilly · 03/01/2025 12:46

They can be worn all year!

Shrinkingrose · 03/01/2025 12:48

There are no pyjama police.

Emanwenym · 03/01/2025 12:55

If you wear them after Jan 5th, the elves will tell Father Christmas.

MadmansLibrary · 03/01/2025 12:56

Christmas PJs make up two-thirds of my PJ collection. I wear them all year.

the80sweregreat · 03/01/2025 13:02

Yes! Why not ?

BarbaraHoward · 03/01/2025 13:02

Both my DC and I wear Christmas jammies year round.

Tagyoureit · 03/01/2025 13:03

Who is checking?

123ZYX · 03/01/2025 13:03

Stop wearing them for a day or two, then start again - that way you're just early for next Christmas

Plantingtimes · 03/01/2025 13:04

Christmas Pyjamas are worn year round in this house

cherish123 · 03/01/2025 13:05

You may as well let them wear them. By next December, they may have grown out of them.

ThinWomansBrain · 03/01/2025 13:08

I tend to only wear my christmas slippers at christmas - but they are about ten years old.
I put them through the washing machine this week.

Night dresses (two because I liked it so much I bought one full price and then spotted at huge discount in January) have tigers in Christmas hats if you look closely, worn most of the year (long sleeved, so less in Summer)

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 03/01/2025 13:11

Definitely fine to be worn all year round!

Jifmicroliquid · 03/01/2025 13:13

I wear Christmas socks and pyjamas all year. Is that weird? I can’t imagine having things like that that only get worn for a few weeks a year.

Username917778 · 03/01/2025 13:13

My pyjama collection is almost exclusively christmas themed. I never thought much about this really until we were camping in summer and I heard some children point out my christmas pyjamas to their mum...they are fleecy and warm, perfect for camping! 😀

battairzeedurgzome · 03/01/2025 13:14

No! Every time you do that, a Christmas fairy dies.

I assume you remove the false beak when you actually go to bed though, don't you?

Mymanyellow · 03/01/2025 13:14

My dgs had his Halloween ones on Christmas Eve because he loves them so much. They won’t fit him next year so I say do it.

True story.

BreakfastClubBlues · 03/01/2025 13:15

Christmas pyjamas worn all year, it would be a waste otherwise, especially for kids.

We do have Christmas bedding, kids crockery & hand towels that only comes out on Christmas Eve.

Hoppinggreen · 03/01/2025 13:15

No, if you wear them from January onwards The Elves will come for you

isthesolution · 03/01/2025 13:16

Mine go away in the Xmas box with the decorations til next year.

When the kids were younger and growing out of them within 6 months I'd let them wear them all year.
