I feel your pain. My mum once asked -demanded- me to lend my ghd's to her friend. I didn't want to seeing that they cost me almost £150 (a hell of a lot of money for someone who was paid £2.50 an hour at the time.) They came back not working and with a rattle.

Of course there was no offer of replacement. I learned that day to never lend anything I wasn't willing to give away.

I hope your friend "finds" the air wrap at the hotel and gets it back to you asap. Thieving cowbag she is. Just make sure yo check every inch of it and make sure it's yours and not a cheap dupe.
