‘D’ P farting while he’s prepping food

He’s in the kitchen chopping meat and just let out 2 enormous farts (and quite deliberately, not like there was nothing he do about it)- doesn’t care and doesn’t think it’s a big deal. He’s in the kitchen prepping food,
Am I being unreasonable to not want to eat with him now. I find when he does this sort of thing that it’s so disrespectful and just unpleasant.

Oh absolutely! If drinking fizzy pop means you need to burp loudly and uncontrollably then you can go enjoy them in your own room thank you very much.

Its not entertainment I personally enjoy but I’m happy for those of you who have found compatible partners and that you’re all enjoying a good old Boxing Day of farts! Have a nice time!

I fart all the time, always have. I don't/can't burp so I feel I fart double the amount. It wouldn't be possible for me to leave the room.

If I was going to be offended by farting ( which I'm not ) I think I would be more offending farting in bed rather than copping food.

Just to clarify, I do both. So does DP.

Tbf, there’s no way I’d fart out loud in the kitchen while preparing food.

But you would fart silently in the kitchen while prepping food? What’s the difference?

No - I wouldn’t do it quietly either. That’s worse- silent but deadly.

My husband kept farting in our kids room while putting them to bed then shutting their doors and leaving the smell trapped. We had strong words!!

I don't think anyone has said anything about enjoyment or entertainment. But most people can surely accept farts and burps as normal bodily functions that shouldn't require you to self isolate within your own home.

If we had to leave the room to fart yesterday we'd have all spent the day in separate rooms, alone. Rather than playing games, watching TV and talking...

I've got a whole oompah band down there, today, and it doesn't seem to have affected anyone's enjoyment of the food I've prepared.

Me neither, well actually I suppose I do, but I stand on a kitchen stool and orientate my rear to the cooker hood, which I have set on 'maximum extract'.

But I assumed everyone did that, it's just polite and what my Mum taught me.

That’s awful 😢 I was taken into surgery immediately after the birth which wasn’t ideal but did fix most of the damage. I’m so sorry you didn’t get good post birth care.

Honestly I am 61 and have never heard any of my lovers do that, in 40-plus years. Nor they, me. Never in my family growing up, either. My parents weren't that type.

Eee God I read threads like this and wonder how some people get through the day😂 unless he’s bent over and farted straight into your meat I don’t know what the fuss is about.
