Denzel Washington is truly awful. Beautiful man, terrible actor.

Dweetfidilove · 14/12/2024 18:00

Jim Carey 🥱
Kirsten Stewart

Adam Sandler is always cringy to watch, I have no idea how he's so popular

He goes through me. I literally get like a visceral reaction to his films 😂

These two have to be the strangests actors that exist.
Keanu is not a good actor, that is jist a fact, but I can’t imagine anyone else replacing him in The Matrix.
And Keira only pulls faces and shows her teeth in akward ways.

Keanu had suffered a lot of trauma so I’m not about to slate the man’s acting.

You think all Keira does is pull faces and shows her teeth? So she doesn’t speak..? No you’re just going to go for her appearance .., ok

Are you joking? She's one of the best ever. Try Tyrannosaur or Flowers.

ghostfacethriller · 14/12/2024 18:01

I saw Four Weddings again recently and feel bad saying Andie MacDowell but... Andie MacDowell. It doesn't help her of course in Four weddings that she is surrounded by fabulous character actors. Is she better in later stuff? I remember seeing Elle MacPherson 'acting' and getting the same impression: very lovely but quite blank.

Judellie · 14/12/2024 18:01

Emma Watson
Daniel Radcliffe
Gwyneth Paltrow

I was going to say Keira Knightly too. Also an old film star from years ago-Robert Mitchum- known in our family as Cardboard Mitchum.

Keira knightly. Absolutely cringe worthy.

Flowers??? What a pile of ridiculous nonsense that was 😅

PointsSouth · 14/12/2024 18:05

Adam Sandler, certainly. Jim Carrey too.

John Wayne. Just a hat. And not even a particularly expressive hat.

TheGirlattheBack · 14/12/2024 18:05

Agree with Keira Knightly and also Anna Maxwell-Martin who reminds me of Wallace of Wallace and Gromit fame everytime she smiles!

mumtotwo11 · 14/12/2024 18:05

Michelle Keegan

WalterdelaMare · 14/12/2024 18:06

Also Hugh Grant - can't act for shit but that's not what you pay to see him do.

I have to disagree. He might have been limited to posh twerps 30 years ago, but he’s grown into a really fantastic actor. He’s just brilliant in Heretic and so many more recent things.

Rockmehardplace · 14/12/2024 18:06

Keira Knightley. Overacts in everything.

SerendipityJane · 14/12/2024 18:07

Radionowhere · 14/12/2024 17:22

Keanu Reeves and Keira Knightley

Keanu was very good in "My Own Private Idaho". Not really lived up to the promise since.

Newgreensofa · 14/12/2024 18:07

I've read through five pages and no mention of Jude Law yet, am I missing something? He was my most obvious candidate!

ChristmasinBrighton · 14/12/2024 18:08

David Jason. He just shouts. Absolutely shit.

lakesiders · 14/12/2024 18:08

Jensen Ackles
Justin Hartley
Vin Diesel

FlabbergastedByTheGorgons · 14/12/2024 18:09

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Gal Gadot. All AWFUL.

SerendipityJane · 14/12/2024 18:09

mbosnz · 14/12/2024 17:41

Tom Cruise for me, just - nope.

Born on 4th July ?

Wash your mouth out!

She's a brilliant actress. She was excellent in The Crown, Wicked Little Letters and Paddington in Peru, plus oodles of other things I have seen her in.

Green Wing too!

Phase2 · 14/12/2024 18:11

Olivia Coleman
Sarah Lancashire
David Tennant (now)

I don't watch anything they are headlining. Got through Black Doves as SL was minimal in it.

pestowithwalnuts · 14/12/2024 18:11

Nigella Lawson.
Just watched her doing some Italian cooking..
I know she's not an actress...

decorativecushions · 14/12/2024 18:12

Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.
